- Hot tub on deck for year‑round soaking with valley panoramas

- Smart TV, fast Wi‑Fi & dedicated workspace for streaming or remote work

The Space:

Morning light spills across tall chalet‑style windows, revealing layered mountain ridgelines that stretch for miles. A gentle breeze carries the scent of pine as you step onto the wraparound deck, steam rising from the hot tub against a crisp winter sky. The fire pit glows softly, inviting you to unwind under a canopy of quiet stars. Perched high on Highland Springs Mountain, this lofted chalet cabin offers a peaceful retreat where nature sets the pace and sweeping views take center stage.

Sleeping arrangements

The loft‑style bedroom features a queen bed positioned to catch the early morning light. In the living area, a sleeper sofa provides additional sleeping space, comfortably accommodating up to four guests.

Kitchen & dining

A fully stocked kitchen invites you to prepare meals at your own pace, with ample counter space for cooking, gathering, and enjoying a relaxed dinner. A dining nook on the deck lets you savor your food while taking in the mountain scenery.

Outdoor living

Step onto the wraparound deck to experience the mountain setting year‑round. The hot tub offers a warm contrast to chilly days, perfect for soaking while you watch the landscape unfold. A fire pit anchors the outdoor space for evenings under the stars, and the deck provides room to grill or simply stretch out and breathe the fresh air.

Family & pet friendly touches

Children’s books, toys, board games, and dinnerware are available for families, creating a welcoming environment for kids. The cabin is pet‑friendly for dogs, with no cats allowed due to allergies. A dedicated workspace and fast, reliable Wi‑Fi make it easy to stay connected when needed.

Getting around & the area

AWD or 4×4 is recommended, especially during winter conditions, though most front‑wheel‑drive vehicles can access the property safely on paved and gravel roads. Nearby attractions include ATV off‑roading, the Potomac River for boating or kayaking, and expansive public lands for hiking and wildlife viewing. Travel insurance is advised during winter months.

Perfect for

Couples, small families, or friends looking to disconnect and enjoy a mountaintop escape. Whether you spend your days exploring the outdoors or staying in by the fire, this cabin balances comfort and simplicity with far‑reaching views and a setting that feels removed from everyday life.

My wife and I stayed here looking for expansive views and quiet to enjoy the Fall foliage in late October. This property over-delivered. It was a wonderful stay with amazing views and extremely quiet and remote. We would definitely stay here again. Communication was superb - fast responses and super informative.

My fiancé and I have stayed in alot of places from casino hotels to cabins in the woods. This place was by far the best place we've stayed at. Being able to bring our dog was great, the cabin was VERY clean and well kept from the kitchen to the fire pit. And honestly what made the trip top notch was the service from the host. If we needed anything at all they were on it. This alone made the trip worth the money.
