Room was OK. The location of the hotel is not near the souq. Seems like it’s described to be right outside the souq waqif but it’s not. Not the cleanest around surrounding it. Its a 7ish mins drive to the actual souq. Not the cleanest hotel but if ur looking for a cheap stay then id recommend this hotel. Abiri was very attentive and lovely. He helped with bags. His handwriting is amazing too.

Staff and clean and spacious room. Bushra at the reception was very welcoming, pleasant and attentive. The bed was very spacious and comfortable. I liked that the hotel is well located. Easy access by walk to market, ATMs, Foreign exchage place as well as a bus stop that brings you to the metro I would have given excellent had there to be proper kitchen amenities. I would suggest that there be at least enough crockery and cuttlery for 2 people. Since hot plate is provided on request then there should be at least one pot and dish soap to clean.

I had a wonderful stay at The OQ in Lusail. The hotel is brand new, and it truly reflects that with its elegant decoration and high-quality furniture. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the hotel had a pleasant, refreshing scent throughout. The staff were friendly and cooperative, making the stay even more enjoyable. However, there were a couple of minor inconveniences. The coffee machine in the room was not functioning, and even after the hotel replaced it, it still didn’t work properly. Additionally, the shower drainage was slow, which made it slightly uncomfortable. Despite these small issues, my overall experience was excellent, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay in Lusail. Rating: 4.5/5
