"The Yunomori onsen ryokan was one of the best places I've ever stayed at. The Kaiseki breakfast and dinner was incredible and the staff were 10/10 amazing. We had an in-room onsen and it was perfect. The entire place was clean and incredibly cozy. I would absolutely recommend Yunomori to anybody! It's a short walk to Yuno Lake nearby and also some beautiful waterfalls. I highly recommend this place to stay in Nikko. It was a very special experience for us. "

"Very nice hotel with a great location!"

"I think very few gaijin go this far out. Some of the communication was difficult but the staff tried really hard and we enjoyed the stay Hard to navigate getting to and from major stations and it snowed one day at end of March Overall I’m glad we did it for the experience to be immersed in Japanese culture. "English speaking staff. Excellent Kaiseki dinner and breakfasts. Room has a nice river view and quiet . Hotel location is walking distance to all main sights and near Bus stop. Onzen open till midnight. Highly recommended."

"If your goal is to get as remote as possible, this is the place for you. It’s an adventure to get to, but when you get there, the remote location provides a tranquility that is second to none. Wonderful experience."

"Perfect convenience to Station and bus to Toshu-gu. Nice, spacious rooms, excellent breakfast and fine indoor/outdoor hot spring options."

"スタッフの方々は、とても親切ですが 玄関のスリッパなど　いろいろと乱れてます せっかく良い温泉のお湯なのに もったいないです。 頑張って掃除して下さい。"
