Worth It
Very well kept and modernized. A few aesthetic issues such as wall cracks and peeling in the bathroom. Under the couch wasn't cleaned at all. The fridge is ridiculously small as well. Other than that, no real issues we enjoyed our stay here. It's also in a great location for restaurants. Not too much else in the immediate area. I would definitely stay again.

I stayed here while in town to watch some hockey at Michigan State University which is about a 15 minute drive from here. The comparable hotels near MSU are significantly more expensive making the short drive worth it. This hotel is surrounded by restaurants and shopping and seems to be in the newer end of East Lansing whereas MSU is in the older downtown area but both have their own character and are nice.

It took 35 minutes to check us in. The desk clerk scanned a total of 3 of our credit cards multiple times, saying they didn't work. They did - resulting in holds & fraud alerts to our cards that required calls to our banks. To top it off the room was dirty! Soured milk baby bottle stuffed behind the pillows. Management could care less!

What a great place to stay!
This hotel is located in a great area of the greater Lansing area in Okemos. We were able to visit several different areas of the region, including Michigan State University, as well as the downtown area of Lansing and the historic Old Town area of Lansing. We would stay at this hotel again!

The fan in the bathroom was broken. The blow dryer didn't work. We stayed 2 days with 3 people and they never brought new washcloths. The room sleeps for and there were 1 or 2 of various supplies - cups, etc. - not enough for our party. The bistro says it serves french toast with "vermont maple syrup." It was maple flavored corn syrup. When I complained the dest offered me two small bottles of water for my trouble.

No complementary coffee in lobby. They say it is bistro style. Coffee at “bistro” is about $3.50 for a grande. Big sign advertising their Starbucks when you walk in, but you gotta’ pay for it.

A nice facility...but...three complaints. Floor in bathroom stuck to your feet (in our room). The body wash in the shower was empty, got another from front desk, but after I took a shower. A scant amount of coffee available in room (only one regular), so went out front to get coffee and got charged nearly $3 for a cup. A place that charges this much for rooms should be able to supply a free cup of coffee. No free or discounted breakfast that we were aware of. The bar/kitchen was understaffed with one person cooking/waiting/bartending.
