Spacious Country Cottage situated on 8 acres of land with a large pond. Home sleeps 6 can accommodate up to 12 guest. Additional guests after 6 must pay an additional fee. Lots of parking. Boats and RVs at an additional charge. A fisherman/hunters delight with on-site cleaning area and a walk-in Smokehouse! This is a MUST SEE beautiful, manicured property located 3 miles from the Kissimmee Prairie State Park and Preserve. Equestrians you can tour the 54,000 acre prairie horseback. The Equestrian Park was recognized as Florida's First Dark Sky Park, where you can see the Milky Way. The area outside of the Park has a ton to offer most any outdoor enthusiast. There are recreational vehicle areas and wildlife management areas less than a mile from the property. Hunt or fish with your airboat in the nearby Kissimmee River. This property is the perfect place to bring the family and pets!
The custom built 1 bedroom 1 bath home is located on 8 plus high and dry acres. The kitchen and living space is complete open concept design. There is a custom built island with a stovetop, this is the center piece of the eat in kitchen. The cabinets are custom and unique. There are double French doors in the kitchen that open on to the enclosed back porch. There is a large, enclosed, air conditioned bonus room. A large stone fireplace is a beautiful focal point in the living room. Double French doors open from the Living room onto the screened front porch. There is plenty of natural light in this home by design. The bathroom has a clawfoot tub and a rock walled shower. Out the back porch is a large pond to spend the summer months enjoying with the family. There is a working smokehouse on the property, and a 40x60 pole barn for hanging out and grilling with friends. There is a lean to with a concrete slab and enclosed stall that can be used as dog kennel. There are 2 RV hook ups. Formally a hunt camp (before a homesite) there is a free standing bathhouse with a shower and toilet on the property. The property is fenced, cross fenced and sectioned off. In one of the pastures there is a small cattle barn with a catch pen area and head catch for working cattle. The property is private and has plenty of grass for animals and trees for shade.

Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys

Throw trash in trash bags and place in trash can outside. Please DO NOT leave trash bags outside on the ground.

This ranch is one of the best VRBO's I have ever used. The Dry prairie of central Florida is not for everybody, but the quiet, nature watching, and stars are extraordinary. The solitude is priceless. The property is large, functional and well-equipped. The House is more than a cottage and has everything you could want. The Hosts are charming and committed to making sure your stay is outstanding. I will be back.
The property was exactly as described. Clean, comfortable and a great place to enjoy the outdoors. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking to get away from city lights and noise.

Bring lots of food and bottled water if you don’t want to drive into town. You will love your stay.
We adored our time away at this adorable cabin! All the little details make the cabin cute and cozy. The beds were extremely comfortable, the grounds were beautiful and safe to explore, the owner was extremely kind and responsive. We found a local place that sold duck eggs and another that sold local honey. We enjoyed the firepit outside, stargazing, and sipping coffee on the front porch. We would definitely book again!
Great place! Very clean, quiet, beautiful views, and the night sky is stunning. Diamara was awesome! Answered questions quickly, repaired the grill the same day and was very generous. Don't forget your bikes/toys, great trail runs right by the property.
Really quiet and peaceful stay. Daimara could not have been any nicer it was kind of like having your private personal concierge service he was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful when needed. Will be going back again for sure!!!
