About this property

Peaceful Suite in Desert Inn- San Juan Queen Room

  • Relax and unwind in this peaceful and serene inn surrounded by beautiful sandstone cliffs and overlooking the Jemez Mountains.

    Nosa's inn accommodations are a refuge of solace and tranquility decorated in traditional New Mexico style. From our fluffy beds adorned with luxurious linens to your own private patio area for morning coffee, our accommodations are geared for your comfort and pleasure.

    The San Juan suite is 340 sqft, and includes a kiva wood burning fireplace, a large walk-in shower, and a private patio with a table and two chairs.

    Owner and Chef Graham Dodds offers breakfast available upon request and for an additional fee. Please let us know ahead of time if you wish to have breakfast with us.

    You are more than welcome to reserve dinner on Friday or Saturday night at 6:30pm. Or lunch on Sundays at either 11:30am or 2:30pm. Those reservations can be made by going to nosanm dot com. If you would like room service dinner Sun-Thurs please contact me ahead of time for availability.

    Some examples of activities nearby include amazing hiking, wine tasting, galleries, and day trips to Taos, Abiquiu, Ghost Ranch, and Santa Fe.

    Other things to note
    pets- Please know that we can accommodate up to 1 dog. Our rooms are not appropriate for multiple animals. Our guests are expecting a peaceful, quiet stay, so please be aware of this when making your travel arrangements.

    smoking- Absolutely NO SMOKING OF ANY KIND is allowed on our premises. Please be aware that breaking this policy may result in an added charge on site.

Beautiful Peaceful Setting

Nosa is a beautiful inn set in the hills outside Ojo Caliente. Our accommodations were perfect. Everything was in place and ready for our arrival and the staff we met were very welcoming and helpful. Our only disappointment was that the owner wasn’t available to cook us one of his fabulous meals. Next time perhaps. So nice to relax and recharge! Definitely recommend!

The Casita was beautiful and comfy and it was really nice to have a fire in the fireplace. The shower was huge and worked well and the grounds were beautiful. We did not have a chance to partake of the restaurant and hope to sometime in the future.

It was perfect for my husband and I because it was the last leg of a long road trip so we were able to rest and rejuvenate. It is very remote, tucked away on its own about 40-50 minutes from Santa Fe on a very rural stretch. We enjoyed our stay and the chef prepared room service dinner very much!

Graham was a great host and very attentive to our needs. The grounds were beautifully kept and the attention to detail in every bit of the property was noticeable. The room (San Juan) we stayed in was very comfortable and relaxing with a great view from the private patio. We enjoyed a private breakfast in the Juniper room on the morning of our departure. The food was delicious and once again the attention to detail that was put into each dish was apparent as was the friendly atmosphere and phenomenal wait staff. We will definitely visit again!

So delighted with the room and property. We had everything we needed including the added touch of half and half in the fridge! Impressive design and decor and beautiful surroundings.

The only issue was a clogged sink in bathroom which we reported and was never taken care of until our third day. We reported it on our second day at breakfast to our waitress and she said she would take care of it. Unfortunately if she did anything we didn’t see a difference until another delightful lady came back to our room and undid the sink stopper and used a coat hangar to remove gross black crud. It was a nasty dirty job but she happily did it with a smile. My kind of worker. She was well tipped!
