Ocean Front Home with Private Beach

Welcome to Jack's Cove – a very special place in Ogunquit. This 3 bedroom, ocean front property is located just south of Perkins Cove and includes a generous backyard that leads to a secluded, private pebble beach.

Watch the sailboats and lobstermen come in and out of Perkins Cove or swim in the clear, protected water without the crowds. The lawn extends directly to the beach and can accommodate activities of all kinds (including relaxing in a chair).

The open first floor allows for unobstructed views of the Gulf of Maine while prepping in the kitchen, enjoying a sit-down meal or relaxing in the living room.

All three bedrooms are located on the second floor and offer beautiful coastal views with windows to let in the ocean breezes.

The primary bedroom includes an en suite bathroom. Two bedrooms have desks in case work just can’t wait. There are two twin beds in the unfinished basement as well as additional seating and a washer/dryer.

All the comforts of home are provided including bed linens, bath and beach towels.

The home is situated on almost an acre of property that is only accessible from a private lane off of Shore Road. This beautiful property was originally part of “Ye Olde Perkin’s Farm” (circa 1717) where a former pasture still extends to the back of the house. Local legend has it that the cove was named after a certain bootlegger who made his smuggling runs through the inlet.

Guests of Jack's Cove are just minutes away from Perkins Cove, the Marginal Way and downtown while enjoying the beautiful Maine coast on the only private beach in Ogunquit. A unique gem of a rental!

Cleaning fee of $325, plus 9% Maine tax will be applied to the balance when booking.

Most of the year there is a three night minimum, however during the summer months the town of Ogunquit requires at least a seven day stay. Our summer reservations are from Saturday to Saturday.

We are unable to host weddings and events.

Amazing Family Trip

My wife, daughters, and in laws have always wanted to visit Maine and we found this house by chance. What a wonderful place it turned out to be! The private beach was beautiful and it's location to town is fantastic. We would stay there again 10 out of 10.

Perfect Quiet Getaway

The beds were SO comfortable! My sisters and I escaped to Maine for a week and this house was a perfect quiet getaway. The couches were comfortable, the dining room table was perfect for puzzles, and the views were stunning. Highly recommend!

If Maine is on you list…

We love coastal Maine and Oguinquit is a great location. The house is perfect - on a private beach, close to town and the house is perfect! Well decorated, plenty of space and just a comfortable cozy stay. Elizabeth the host has everything available in the house and has great tips on food and sights for first timers and people who have been in lower Maine before. Again, the private beach, and more secluded area - don't panic it's not the woods - are a perfect option for people to experience the charm of this area, and Oguinquit is great blast off point for other locales like Camden or Arcadia in season. Don't miss this place!

Great Week

We stayed at the house for a week and had a great time. The home is beautiful and all of the furniture is so comfortable. The kids loved the huge yard and beach and we loved the easy access to the center of town.

Perfect Getaway!

From the moment we booked this property we were excited - and it exceeded our expectations. Amazing communication, super clean property, all the amenities you could ever need, private, and location was a dream. Our two young sons absolutely loved the access to pebble beach and exploring - lots of fun was had! If you are looking for a restful epic stay away from home - we highly recommend it! We had a wonderful time with family at this beautiful home and property! The views from all the front rooms are amazing. Lovely home and views!

This place is everything the listing shows! It was absolutely gorgeous and really well decorated. I loved all the picture collages throughout the home. It was the perfect location and home for our small group, while celebrating my mother in laws upcoming 90th birthday! Comfy beds, dual heating zones, cozy blankets, gorgeous views and all the comforts of home! The kitchen was really well stocked! We stayed in early November and weather was incredible, but be warned many restaurants and some shops were closed for the season, but it did not bother us much. We would definitely return here! We all loved our stay so much and the host was super communicative, well in advance of our stay and again as our stay approached!

Fantastic

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay over the Christmas holiday. This home is spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Wonderful Week in Maine

My husband and I have been visiting the Ogunquit area for many years, and this home was, by far, the best lodging we've ever had. The house has everything you'd need - lovely bedding and towels, stylish artwork and furnishings, beautiful bathrooms, a fully appointed kitchen, and even a cabinet full of puzzles and games. We spent the first part of the week on our own, and then our adult children joined us. The house accommodated our family perfectly, and we were able to spend lots of quality time together. Elizabeth was terrific to work with, and we're looking forward to visiting her very special home again.

A slice of heaven

Every time we go to the north east we drive through Ogunquit and my husband and I say “one day we will stay for a whole week” and we did it! Elizabeth’s property was spectacular. The ocean view, the sunrise, the sounds of the ocean..it was truly beautiful. The house was clean, decorated like a Nancy Meyers movie and well stocked with everything you would need/want in a vacation property.

Absolute beautiful property, beautiful beach, always a place to sit with the wind or without. Elizabeth was fantastic. I called her when I got there I could not get in. This is an excellent vacation rental. The location is fantastic and it is probably the best equipped place we have ever stayed. It has several touches that you do not find in some of the “corporate” rentals. Kitchen is fully equipped, comfortable beds, nice linens, plenty of towels and a kitchen that has everything you need to cook meals. There were only 2 of us and we found the entire experience very romantic. We felt like this house was a great way to experience Maine. Almost everything is closed for the season but we did not mind it a bit.

Perfection by every definition

Elizabeth's home at Jack's Cove created an exceptionally beautiful and comfortable space for our gathering of old friends. The view out all of the windows (including the window as you walk down the stairs from the 2nd floor bedrooms) are all views that entice you to stop and just savor the moment. Each morning, I watched the magnificent sun rise on the water and landscape from the living room windows. The cleanliness and overall easy to follow organization of Elizabeth's home made is truly a stress free and complete pleasure to spend time there. Example: we each commented on the showers and how beautifully designed they were (handle is on opposite wall of the faucet). There are plenty of comfortable chairs and couches in the living room so this made our conversations easy and everyone had a comfortable seat. Attention has been given to every aspect of this impeccably cared for home. It is RARE to find a home so meticulously cared for in such an exquisite and private location....we had the experience of spending time in an old traditional home combined with all of the contemporay conveniences in the most amazing location. I am so grateful to have found this little slice of heave in Jack's Cove. I will definitely return.

Time away with our adult children is always a blessing but to do that here took it to another level. The property is absolutely beautiful with a large yard for some yard games. Situated on a cove close to Perkins cove we were treated with boats and sailboats coming and going through the day. The house is spotless with allConveniences. The beds were comfy and the furniture solid . Highly recommend renting Kayaks. The family was out everyday on them right from our back yard cove. Relaxing picturesque and fun
