The home is beautiful. The first two floors are very nicely done and updated. The lower level is not updated; it looks like they might be working on it. The steps are down to plain wood, with just some carpet running down the middle; it feels semi-unfinished, older, and smells like a basement. You don't even see pictures of the bedroom in the vrbo pics.... It's small. There's a tiny little living area with a tiny kitchenette and a mini fridge down there.We loved the location. It was clean. The checkout requests seem a little more than average, especially needing to sweep all the floors and clean the fridge when you're already paying over 400 to clean. That was my only comment on what seemed odd; however, I didn't reach out to the owner to ask about it. She did give her information if we needed anything when we got there. Communication probably would have been quick once we were there, but I asked a couple of questions before we got there, and it took a full day to get an answer both times. All in all it was a beautiful verbo and we would say that again.
