"Room was clean and basic. We had a balcony that looked into the sea. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was private and abundant. We came off season so the hotel was empty. Parking was across the street for 5 euro a day. Nice hotel in the Center of town. The restaurant - we had dinner and it was fabulous !!! Homemade soup - delicious. "

"I got a nice upgrade, very clean room, comfortable and a spectacular sea view. Best breakfast ever in a hotel in Croatia! Only issue we had was the room being very hot. I asked to turn the heater off, even though the room was still very hot. Set up the AC on but looks like it was not working. End up sleeping with the windows open. "

"Spacious room with a terrace, very clean. Very nice bathroom as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful, guided us well for activities in the area. They offer rental bikes as well among other things. The breakfast was amazing and lots of variety. The restaurant was also very good and prices for restaurant were reasonable. Overall, it was an amazing stay. I would really like to go back there"

"First of all the location here was ideal and right in the center of the city of carlowitz the staff was amazing and super helpful and friendly. I recommend this hotel and will be back again when in Karlovac. "

"Lovely old world hotel (completely renovated) across the road from the beach. Used the indoor pool but the balcony outside had only a few chairs and very little room. Our room had a nice sized balcony with a water view but the room (213) was very small with a few design flaws that made it crowded for two. Bathroom very small. Excellent breakfast and good service. Parking was limited but we had a spot for our 4 night stay and surprisingly they didn’t charge us. Disappointed that a 5 star hotel (above $500CAD per night in Sept) wouldn’t include beach chairs. We paid 30Euros each day to have two chairs on the beach. Lots of good dining and shops in walking distance. Clean, good air conditioning and fairly quiet. Bit of noise from the beach bar across the road but it finished at midnight. Overall a very good stay in a great location. "

"Great properly. Comfortable for seven adults. Nice location with view of the Adriatic. Host met us and gave us property info. Our host went above and beyond in helping us retrieve lost luggage. It’s nice to have someone who can speak the language and make phone calls. This location is also a great place for day trips. We went to Pula and also to Plitvice National Park. Overall a great stay. The pool and covered patio was a treat. "
