Excellent breakfast with a fantastic view of the city.

What a beautiful magnificent hotel, is inside universal studios, so many restaurants to choose from, also food courts for the kids and attractions and arcades and claw machines. Theirs also convinces store 3 to choose from. Such as 7-11 also a big Lawson. The staff was amazing and the hotel is wonderful can Waite to return. Also has its owed Metro line, we used it for our tours.

Convenient to Universal and train station.

The property is a 7-10 minute walk from Osaka station, which was easily routed via Google Maps & was easy for 2 middle-aged people who do a fair amount of walking. It's much closer to Nishi-Umeda station for further travel around the city. Rooms were clean & very nice. There was a small, booth-style seating area with table in each room. There were 2 pillows on each bed: a much more firm buckwheat pillow & a very soft pillow. Our two beds were pushed together in mine & my husband's room, or they can be separated as they were in our kid & their friend's room. I initially thought I had booked the rooms with tubs but when it turned out I had not, it was very easy to upgrade for a minimal price increase (¥1000 per room per night) to get the Japanese style shower/bath combo. Let me tell you it's WORTH IT. There is nothing like scrubbing clean while you fill your bath & then soaking in bath salts after a long day of walking around Osaka. ALWAYS go for the tub room! The air conditioner was difficult to figure out...until we realized there were instructions for it on the table. The lights & A/C work based on whether your key card is in the little slot by the door, so the A/C doesn't work while you're out. If you're American like us, this means you won't come back to a cold room. It didn't both us, but I know some people really prefer that. Overall I found this an incredible price for this stay & I will absolutely choose Intergate again when we come back to Osaka.
