We need to make futon beds ourselves too, not like the previous ones I went to - they usually make it for you. Bath tax per person was applicable in cash only upon checkout. Breakfast and dinner were nice and the staff were friendly and helpful"

"Spa was fantastic. Views are incredible. Staff was super helpful and spoke enough English for us to communicate. Would like to see the carpets in the main areas cleaned, there were stains that were off putting. Seemed like there were more things to do but were closed during my visit such as the indoor pool and karaoke rooms. "

"This is a lovely ryokan. We had a private onsen but our adult children used the public one and liked it very much. The food was excellent but there was way too much. Nice to wander around the little town and stop at the excellent bakery near the train station."
