"The place was very spacious, clean, and easy to access when we arrived. Unfortunately, the lake had been drained a good bit that we were unaware of, but we were still able to enjoy the lake by kayak. The AC was not working and was still out when we left. We were lucky enough to have cool weather at night, and with the 3 sliding glass doors being open with screens, it kept us comfortable. The owners were very nice and did what they could to accommodate us. "Even when I accidentally locked us out of the rental," HAHA Would go back in the summer for sure when the lake is up, and the AC is fixed!"

"My wife and I stayed in a 1br/1ba cabin (#26) we only stayed for two nights, we will be back again, but will plan a longer trip for as far as we traveled. The cabin was comfortable and cozy, back looked into woods front looked towards the mountains and the sunset. Our cabin did not have a hot tub or outdoor heater, but did have a large deck and screened room off to the side with grill. Full kitchen including coffee maker in cabin. We did not eat at the flying trout restaurant at the lodge, but would have if we were staying longer, very convenient. Loved the atmosphere and the location relative to nature trails, scenic routes and the small town destinations of Blairsville and Blue Ridge and even Dawsonville and McCaysville will be on our itinerary for next time."

"The property is not maintained well, hot tub is not working, fire place is not functioning due to remote interface being broken, ac doesn’t cool enough, and tub in bathroom doesn’t hold water. We are dissatisfied even if the host responded to our messages, nothing was fixed, but it should always be ready for the guess. I’m requesting a refund since these are the reasons why we rented the place expecting things to work especially with the short time that we had. "

"We had a mixed experience during our stay. Unfortunately, there were several maintenance issues that impacted our visit. The front door and the upstairs porch door were both very difficult to close and lock. Especially challenging for me as I currently have a broken wrist. This made it not only frustrating but also concerning from a safety standpoint. The front door handle was also extremely loose when entering the home.Additionally, there were water leaks in two separate bedrooms, which was disappointing and inconvenient. One of the upstairs beds for the kids was also uneven and noticeably tilted toward the wall, causing your head to be lower than your feet/legs, which made it uncomfortable to sleep on.We did reach out to the owners to make them aware, but their response felt dismissive and the concerns were not addressed during our stay.The property itself has potential, but these issues and the lack of urgency in resolving them made the experience less enjoyable than we had hoped."

"We came to stay for my 40th birthday. There were 6 of us, ranging from 11 to 61 and the house was perfect for everyone! There was nothing we needed and attention to detail was thoughtful in design. We'd love to come back!"
