"I was very disappointed with my experience at this Comfort Inn. I try to stay positive, especially when traveling with my six-year-old son, but unfortunately there were several issues that made this stay far below expectations. Communication with the front desk was extremely difficult. The same staff member appeared to be working most of the shifts, and it was very hard to communicate basic questions or concerns. One of the amenities we were looking forward to was the hot tub that is advertised with the pool area. However, when we went to use the pool, we noticed the hot tub was completely covered with a platform built over it and clearly not operational. The pool itself also appeared very dirty, and after spending time in that area my son and I both started feeling sick. Another disappointing moment happened with breakfast. After driving nearly 10 hours the day before, my son and I slept in a bit. We came downstairs at 9:33 AM—just three minutes after breakfast ended at 9:30—and were told we could not have anything at all, not even cereal. While I understand policies, a little flexibility or kindness toward a tired parent and child would have gone a long way. Throughout the stay I did my best to keep the experience positive for my son. He noticed some of the issues around the hotel, and I didn’t want him to have a negative travel experience, so we spent most of our time away from the hotel. I travel to visit my kids and often just need a place to stay for a few nights "

"Unfortunately, the room we were staying in, wasn’t clean very well. On the nightstand there were used nicotine pouches near the phone. There was a leftover water bottle on the floor by the desk. This is disappointing, considering there was a message next to the TV saying the room was cleaned. It didn’t completely ruin our experience or anything, but it was a bit jarring. As for the staff, the person who checked me in was nice and attentive. However, the person next to them was either overwhelmed or simply didn’t want to be working. They seemed annoyed and aggravated. I will give this person a little grace, considering the hotel appeared to be packed full of people. The breakfast provided was lackluster. Biscuits were hard and dry. The premade omelettes were overdone. Again, I wasn’t expecting an extra extravagant spread, but I do think it could be executed better for what that’s worth. Overall, I would rate the stay a tad below average. I give that rating primarily because of the lack of attention to detail. In no way am I trying to disparage this hotel. I think the stress of having so many people stay there had a roll to play and put strain on the staff. When I stay at this facility again? That’s debatable depending on how much the rate is for the 200+ dollars I spent I wasn’t impressed. As for the positives, the lady at the front desk who greeted me was very nice and respectful. Unfortunately, she was next to another coworker, who obviously needed a break. "
