"Large resort with 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom houses ideal for families or friends sharing. The houses have gardens that share a pool. We have been here three times now over the last 6 years and eve though it’s always enjoyable, maintenance of properties and grounds could be better. Lots of things broken in the house, housekeeping skipped one day and didn’t clean the floors the second day, playground and woodwork everywhere could do with paint. If we were to pay high season prices we could have complained Claudia at the kids club is great"

"Excellent breakfast, with many choices of bacn, sausage and eggs to fresh fruits , also cold meat and some fish, cereals, and much more !! My room was upgraded to a room facing the sea at no extra cost, the staff were very friendly, the pool was wonderful. Stone through "

"Staff was very attentive. There was a good bit of construction being done around the hotel that took away a bit from the atmosphere, but the room was quite large. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked well. The location was pretty good except for the construction. It's a bit of a walk from the "main drag" on the other side of the marina, but not horrible. Note that this is a more modern hotel and does not give the older Portuguese vibe. Still, it was a good stay. The free parking was right across the street from the hotel entrance. It was never full for us, but we were there a little off season. It could be a concern in the main tourist season. As far as laundry facilities go, there is a private laundromat about a block away that you can use, at 4 euros each for one wash and one dry. The facility was clean, but about a block away. That was a pain, but a life saver on a 2 week vacation."

"Great staff and ocean view room was perfect. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Garage is very small and be sure to reserve if you need parking. Also, entrance is not accessible by car. Call ahead for instructions."

"This is a beautiful place to stay. The breakfast choice is outstanding. We had a suite which was so comfortable. I have stayed here before and it is something special. One little criticism- we arrived and it was not raised do you have suitcases? There were suitcase trollies at the reception and a male seated at the desk. But it was down to us to bring in our suitcases from a distance and get to our rooms. "
