The car ferry to Sylt departs from Niebüll, and the ferries to Amrum or Föhr depart from Dagebüll. You can reach Sankt Peter Ording in just over an hour by car, and even Denmark is barely a stone’s throw away.<br><br>If the North Sea ever feels too rough, simply take a day trip to the Baltic Sea—for example, to Fehmarn. Or visit cities like Travemünde or Lübeck.
