we loved the unit - plenty of space for the 2 of us, clean, the balcony was fabulous. no fault of the owner, but we're used to staying in mid town, so we were a little further north than we like. the only thing w didn't like was the bed... we have a super firm mattress at home and have come to understand we aren't going to find that at the beach. otherwise, LOVED IT!!!!

I love staying at the Pyramid in OC because of the beachfront and location near stores and restaurants. The unit was without a lot of tacky beach nick-nacks. I loved the ambient lighting in the tv stand. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom shower needs to be updated and was the biggest disappointment along with the tiny washer and dryer. The sliding glass door was tough to open and close due to a build-up of sand. We came back from the beach one day and found two building maintenance guys trying to gain access to our unit to install cable. They were telling us they had a right to enter and I firmly disagreed and they came back the next day after we checked out. The host apologized and said they thought they were coming another day. Overall, I'd give the place a 3 out of 5. Not too bad for OC.
