The Golden Sands, located in Ocean City, offers everything a vacationer could want without needing to leave the building complex. Enjoy the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, oceanfront volleyball, and game and exercise rooms! During the summer season, visit the beach bar and grill, sandwich shop, convenience store, and gift shops.

Wake up every single day to the unmistakable sound of the crashing waves at this perfect 1 BR with private den beach condo! It's well-equipped with everything you and your guests could ever need to spend a carefree and restful vacation. The kitchen has been equipped with all the essentials and the living area is all about comfort and coziness with inviting furniture and a TV. The private balcony is the perfect place to experience picture-perfect views that will blow your mind! The on-site washer/dryer adds convenience to your stay.

Things to Know
The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed.
The indoor pool will be closed beginning Monday, March 2, 2026 through Friday, March 14, 2026 for our annual maintenance. The pool will reopen on Saturday, March 15, 2026.
The indoor pool and large outdoor pool will not accommodate children in diapers. There is an outdoor kiddie pool provided for children in diapers.
Per building management, cannabis is prohibited everywhere on the Golden Sands grounds.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Wonderful Beach Getaway!

Golden Sands room 1615 was wonderful! Definitely a home away from home. The views were great, the process was easy, it was all wonderful! Second bedroom beds were pretty uncomfortable but everything else about the condo made up for that! Can’t wait to book again!

Amazing

This condo is perfectly located just down from the boardwalk on side, just down from the Delaware line on the other. Great view of the beach from the balcony as well as the master bedroom. Sound of the waves was magical. It was very clean, very cute. Go get seafood at Harpoon Hannah’s, check out the boardwalk, & just enjoy the views. A whole bunch of dolphins greeted us right outside almost every morning.❤️

Nice Unit

A little smaller then expected. But the sun rise views were amazing. Elevators were fast, trash shoot was close to unit, and the indoor pool was perfect with colder weather outside. We came during off season so not a lot to do (restaurants and activities closed).

Overall enjoyable

Great location, unit seemed a little smaller than we thought. Could use a little touching up here and there. A little surprised at lack of any beach chairs, etc. and lack of games, puzzles, etc. Also no recommendations from owner for restaurants, etc. I guess we have been spoiled in the past. Beach and resort amenities were very good. This was our first stay in Ocean City and we loved the beaches and restaurants.

Beautiful views from the master bedroom and living room

This is mostly a lovely light-filled condo, very comfortable, with small deck overlooking the beach and ocean, large enough for 4 people to sit. The 2nd bedroom has one small window overlooking the common outside hall, and then overlooking the bay. While the photo appears to make the indoor pool look like a standard lap pool, it is in fact children's sized. The game room did not have any cues or balls for the pool table, or paddles and balls for ping pong. We did not ask if they were available from the front desk.

Beautiful Condo

The condo was lovely. Cleaning wise I would give it 4 which is shocking because most vacasa rentals aren’t clean. xxxx, the local crew on contact for the renal, could have been more pleasant. I called Friday morning to see if an early check in was available. xxxx told me it’s very busy this weekend and the cleaners needed time to clean the rooms. Well, when I showed up to the condo and throughout the weekend of staying, it was pretty empty. Clearly, he wasn’t being honest. The woman at the front desk of Golden Sands was very nice and accommodating. Furniture was comfortable and the views were gorgeous.

Weekend getaway in OC

Really enjoyed our stay at the unit In Golden Sands! Beach views and sunrise were breath taking! Hearing the ocean waves from the balcony was so relaxing! Place was clean, and we appreciated having full kitchen and towels provided! Looking fwd to.going back & highly recommend this place for anyones visiting OC!

Excellent location. Amenities as described. Place was clean and tidy. Views from the balcony were nice. Overall we had a good stay. The only thing I would say, which others have mentioned on prior reviews, they need to change blinds in the main bedroom facing the ocean. It did become bright in the morning too fast.

The sliding doors, screen door and sliding window shade were the best I have ever seen or operated in all my rental experiences ever. They glided smoothly, did not fall off the tracks, were not corroded, were easy to move.

No master bathroom. AC not working in master bedroom.

There was a definite problem with the AC reaching the master bedroom which made the heat in that bedroom unbearable. Husband remodels houses and did some investigating. 99% sure there is an air leak in the AC duct work between the kitchen and master bedroom. You could feel cold air coming out under the kitchen cabinets, around dishwasher, and through the bathroom door jamb, but hardly any reaching the master bedroom. Believes the cold air was dumping into the wall through the leak, preventing it from getting to the master bedroom.

Vacasa terrible customer service

I stayed here with my family and the unit itself was wonderful. Vacasa, however, provided terrible customer service. Despite calling and physically going to the office, I was told the unit wasn’t ready. When we came back a few hours later, we were told the unit had been ready all along. The unit below us smoked marijuana all weekend, which wafted to our unit, waking us up every morning and making us want to be out of the unit at all times. Vacasa did absolutely nothing to correct the problem despite numerous complaints. I love this property, but will NEVER rent through Vacasa again.

Better than expected

The condo was very clean and the furniture was comfortable and well kept. The kitchen had every convenience including condiments and coffee. All the electronics worked well and they even had USB ports on the night stands to charge phones etc. Only drawback was no vacuum, so we had to sweep up the crumbs, popcorn etc.

needs repairs

Verticals are not the answer to be used as window treatments, Master B.R . Has sun coming in at 6. a.m. (20 slats missing and they don't open and close!) L.R has the same problem. Housekeepers do not clean very well! sand over floors. Great Kitchen and baths. I think the board may be responsible for verticals. Should make some kind of restitution...
