This 2 BR 2 BA end unit feels much larger than the other units in the building and its location insulates you from hallway noise.
It features a full kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless-steel appliances for those nights you want to eat in. You'll enjoy TVs in every room, a DVD player, wireless internet and a washer & dryer. Best of all, this building has some incredible amenities. You will have access to the heated indoor pool, sauna, fitness center and two championship billiard tables.

This unit is conveniently located to the beach (1.5 blocks), Convention center (2 blocks) and Seacrets (3 blocks). You are also strategically located to enjoy numerous restaurants, the world-famous boardwalk, Jolly Roger's Amusement Park, miniature golf and much more!

THINGS TO KNOW:
* Contactless check-in process. No waiting in line for a key.
*This is a non-smoking/non-vaping unit.
* Sorry no pets allowed.
* This unit does not rent to graduating seniors or to parents renting on behalf of graduating seniors. Sorry, no exceptions. All individuals in a non-family group must be a minimum of 25. The minimum age for groups increases to 30 on holiday weekends.
* This condo is on the 5th floor. There is an elevator.
* Two uncovered parking spots are provided. Trailers allowed during special events with prior registration. Only trailers that fit in one parking space permitted on the Makai parking lot.
* The indoor pool, billiards room and sauna are open year-round.
(We cannot control when any amenity closes due to an emergency or for standard maintenance.)
* Quick access to the beach.
* The boardwalk runs from the inlet to 27th street. This condo is on 43rd street.
* This unit includes bed linens, towel sets, hotel quality bathmats and kitchen hand towels.
* We provide a welcome packet which includes toilet paper and 1 roll of paper towels, dish washing liquid, and dishwasher pods.
* No extra stop at a separate office location required. Guests will receive complete check-in information via email prior to arrival.
* TV's can be a combo of cable and/or streaming. TV viewing options are chosen by the property owner.
* The sleep total of 6 is the maximum occupancy allowed, including children and infants.

Ocean City Cheer Competition

We stayed at the Makai rental number 507 and it was awesome!!!!! 5 minute walk to the convention center was great! Pool for the kids was awesome! Rental property was perfect! Exactly what we needed! Communication was awesome with the property manager and everything was exactly as described! Would absolutely rent this property again!

Great place to stay

We had a great time. This propery is clean and well maintained. This is the second time we stayed here and plan to stay in this condo again. It is apparent that attention to detail is important. It is close to a lot of attractions and a short drive to the inlet and boardwalk.

Great stay off season, nicely decorated!

We loved our off-season weekend stay in this unit. May is such a great time to go to OC. This location is very convenient to everything. It is clean, beautifully decorated and stocked with everything needed. The pool is lovely with spa and sauna. Parking was plentiful. Very clean unit and comfortable.beds. Easily able to walk or scooter in my son's case, to beach.

Music weekend

We had a very nice stay at the Makai 507 property. The rental company was helpful and check-in went well. Building security was very friendly as were other condo owners we met during our stay. The property was perfect for our group and convenient to all of our activities. It was very convenient to have the linen package there upon arrival. The condo was clean and well stocked which was so wonderful.

Great Trip to OC MD

This unit was immaculate, which is one of my biggest criteria for a place to stay. The place was comfortable and was in a decent section of town. It was convenient to major roads in and out and was near by great local destinations. It was so pleasant going to OC in the off season. Most restaurants and activities are still open at this time. I will most like come back.

We enjoyed our stay very much! Decor was beautiful! Very easy to check in. The location was perfect for ease of travel to restaurants, boardwalk, as well as jolly Rodger for all ages. Property was cozy in size. Great for family of 4 or less. Quiet property at the end of the hall. Only minor feedback would be to please use less air fresheners. The ones inside were strong smelling. Easy fix for owner to remove them. Overall great stay!

Beautiful rental and great location

The rental was beautifully decorated and had most things needed to cook the occasional meal. Great location near performing arts center and convention center by the bay. You can see the ocean from the balcony above the rooftops across the street. The linen package was included, but I was surprised that the beds were not made up. The towels and sheets are left inside the front door in big blue bags. You have to make all the beds yourself. I’ve never encounter that.

The Perfect 5-Star Ocean City Getaway

I'll start by saying that I am a hotel/vacation rental snob. I agonize over photos and reviews before every booking. This 2BR/2BA condo in The Makai was exceptional and checked all my boxes! From the thoughtful and beachy decor to the fully stocked kitchen, laundry and baths, makes it an easy choice to return. It even had spare candles, puzzles, board games and books! I loved the patio with ocean views that opened from the primary BR and the sliding living room doors. For me to have NO complaints is rare and I'm so grateful to have stumbled on this condo for our last minute family getaway!

Great location across from the beach near mid Ocean City

What a great find! We loved this place located in the Makai building. Beautiful views looking towards the ocean and a pool view towards amazing sunsets. The rooms were clean, and the right size, and having two bathrooms with showers was perfect for our family. TVs in all the rooms kept everyone happy and the Smart TV allowed us to use Apple TV and let the kids watch Messi play soccer. The master bed was super comfy and having a washer/dryer is something we won't do without anymore. Lots of room to stock the kitchen with food for breakfast and lunch and close to our favorites for dinner (Belly Busters, 45 Taproom) Four-minute walk to the beach and plenty of parking. We loved it!

We were in Ocean City for a work conference at the convention center. The unit was clean, comfortable and had all the comforts of home. The linen package was a big plus and its proximity to the convention center was incredibly convenient.
