"How often can you say you stayed in a castle? As mentioned before, there are a lot of stairs, but it’s worth it to have the experience! Our room was across the hall from an outdoor balcony, which overlooked the area. My husband took a walk around the castle wall in the morning, which he enjoyed. Breakfast was lovely. Overall a nice stay in a beautiful town."

"Very unique property with stone walls and 17th century feel. The staff were very willing to please. Great breakfast although different from Canada. Only drawback was our bathroom was a little cramped."

"The staff at The Literary Man were first rate. It a great concept with a laid back atmosphere and books lining almost every wall. We ate dinner elsewhere, but the breakfast was a hearty buffet. They could use a bit better WIFI connectivity (a minor point). Remember that you’re in a repurposed cabin convent. Very cool looking, but not North American corporate slick (which for some may be an issue). We’d stay here again.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2"

"Better than a one star hotel for sure! Room was fine and location was great for the price. There is construction happening next to the hotel, so if you’re looking to sleep in, not the place for you. I would happily stay here again."

"This was an absolutely beautiful location. We had views of the ocean, beach, dunes and golf course. Stunning! The resort facilities andour beachfront townhouse were great. Our golfers loved the course! Clean, comfortable and reasonably priced."
