"A great place to stay with stunning views. There's a bus stop at the entrance so it's easy to get to Dachstein Krippenstein and Hallstatt. There's also a wharf close by with two transport options. The mini-market in the resort is well stocked with plenty of options for self-catering. The staff were very friendly and helpful and restaurant food was excellent."

"We enjoyed staying at this resort. We stayed in one of the larger rooms in the main lodge. The place was huge! One bathroom, washer/dryer, two beds, a living room, kitchen and a perfect balcony with a view of the lake and mountains. We stayed only two nights and didn't use the kitchen, but we can see this would be a great place to stay for a while. "We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. A chalet with a lot of character. Clean and comfortable. Lovely kitchen. Obertraun is a lovely Alpine village away from the bustle of Hallstatt. Ideal for those looking to stay in a quiet place and engage in outdoor activities like hiking, cycling etc. in the surrounding areas. Very responsive and competent management."
