"This is a perfect holiday location....the apartment has everything you need & was spotlessly clean. Gengenbach is probably the prettiest town we saw in the Black Forest & a fantastic base to explore the region. We stayed 11 nights & used the train on the Konus card scheme every day bar 1.....great for taking the stress away & having a German beer or 2! Anja was fantastic in welcoming us & giving lots of tips on where to eat etc....she was always at the end of the phone if we had a question....

"Wir waren voll und ganz zufrieden. Hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit gerade im Pool mit der schönen Aussicht. Der ist zwar morgens noch frisch aber ab Mittags bei praller Sonne ein Traum. Der weg zum Objekt geht zwar steil den Berg rauf (gutes Auto ist hilfreich bei voller Besetzung mit Koffern ;)), aber die Aussicht belohnt es einem alle mal."

Man hört zwar die Strasse, dafür gibt es keine Nachbarn oder Passanten direkt am Garten, ist daher zu empfehlen für Leute, die Wert auf Privatsphäre legen. Der Innenraum ist sauber und bietet alles was man braucht (moderner Backofen/Herd, Spülmaschine, Waschmaschine und Internet). This was my first experience with a self-service place and I didn’t read the instructions completely. Complicated by a bit of a language barrier. Otherwise, everything was perfect."

"Caren & Michaels place was fantastic, such a lovely house with everything you could possibly need. We stayed for a few days over Christmas and it was exactly what we were looking for, a quiet and calm area close to nature.The hosts were lovely, and were there to support if you needed anything. They even came by and with some Christmas snacks and Gluhwein on Christmas eve, which made us feel very welcome. Would highly recommend!"
