"The bed was nice and soft but the building was very old and outdated. "

"Sweet staff. Room was clean and great for our needs. My only complaint was the TV. Would not work. Called the front desk and they walked me through to make sure remote was working. Remote batteries were pretty beat up and the back kept falling off. The TV would not change channels. Gave up and turned off."

"This place was just what my husband and I needed for a little weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of work life! I can’t say enough about how beautiful this property is! We also had the opportunity to meet the hosts and they were some of the nicest people! We are already looking forward to our next visit! "

"I booked this room through Expedia.com. Upon arrival I was told there was no room available. I asked why and was told their computer system overbooked the hotel and since I booked through Expedia, there was nothing they could or would do. We had to go to another town to get a room. Later when I called and complained to Expedia a representative called the Super 8. When she returned to me she said she was told that the Super 8 had a water heater failure and it affected a section of the building. Sounds to me Super 8 is lying about something. What I want to know is whether Expedia will do anything about a booking through their website that leaves travelers stranded. "

"The hotel was rundown and it smelled terrible. The room smelled like a sweaty ranch hand rolled around on the carpet after working 12 hours in the Texas heat . The bedding smelled horrible, I had the change the bedding and it smelled just as bed. There was fecal matter in the toilet, the tiles are cracking and coming out of the floor in the bathroom, the flooring in the hallway has broken metal thresholds and exposed screws in the second floor. The breakfast was actually good, but I would personally prefer a hotel that values cleanliness over their breakfast. "

"Pictures do not match the actual rooms of the hotel. Door knob to the bathroom fell off."

"Nice sized room with a king bed, a couch, a built in desk and 2 tvs. The room was clean and well kept. Toiletries could use an update. The staff was friendly and helpful. "
