Amazing Bay Area Views -- Gracious Living

Stunning views, classic elegance, yet still homey and comfortable with lots of light and located in a quiet neighborhood.
This classic 1925 Mediterranean style home is the best of both worlds. High enough in the Berkeley hills to have stunning 180 degree panoramic views ranging from downtown Oakland, to San Francisco, to the Golden Gate Bridge, and continuing on north to Marin County and Mt. Tamalpais, yet close enough about 9 block drive to Solano Avenue with shopping, including grocery store and the full culinary range of restaurants (Zachary's Pizza, Indian, Mexican, Thai, etc.) that Berkeley is famous for..
The front of the house faces Grotto Rock Park, a granite outcropping and City park.

1 and 1/2 mile to U.C. Berkeley/Downtown by car/walking, and one block to bus line to U.C. campus. Just across the Bay from San Francisco (accessible by car, BART, or bus) and Marin County.

On the main floor the home has formal diving room with views of Granite Rock; kitchen dining area with stunning bay views, entryway, large living room with bay views and balcony, a half-bathroom, and a small office (also with stunning views) perfect for writing your novel or research papers. All with hardwood floors and great windows. Two balconies off of the living room and kitchen help bring the outdoors, and lots of sunlight, inside.
The kitchen is newly refinished with five-burner gas stovetop, two ovens, microwave, and dishwasher.

Upstairs are three large bedrooms, a full bath, and an amazing enclosed sun room (which could also double as an office) with full windows on all three-sides and a 270 degree panoramic view. The main bedroom has king-size bed and killer views. The other two bedrooms overlook Granite Rock Park. Closets and hardwood floors in each room.

House is furnished including king size bed in master bedroom, large leather sofa in living room, fine wood tables throughout, cooking utensils, plates/flatware, etc.
In the basement are washer/dryer and one-car garage with automatic door opener.
There is a sloping fully landscaped backyard with room for outdoor dining, views of the bay, roses and apple/lemon trees.
