"The property was as described and exactly what we needed. Downtown was a block away. Several restaurants and shops. We are originally from the area and selected this location because it was near downtown and central to places in Augusta and Gardiner that we wanted to visit. The house is a wonderfully updated old home."

"The apartment was exactly what was described and perfect for what we needed. Spent a week so my son could updated his Red Cross Certifications on campus. The proximity to campus was perfect. The apartment was spotless, nicely furnished and enough room for myself and 2 teen boys. We all had our own space and never felt on top of each other. The only issue we had is the traffic, which is no fault of the owners. Had to get use to the noise but it wasn't so bad to deter us from staying there again....

"Had problems with initial check-in because instructions weren’t given to us or incorrect. But the overall stay was great. I appreciate the follow up with my grandsons pillow. I recommend this property."

"I had a great stay. The host was very professional and responsive. There was every kind of amenity I could have needed including a washer/dryer (with detergent), a keurig machine (with k cups), and all the tools needed in the kitchen. The host even left a hairdryer for me when I noticed an empty hairdryer box under the bathroom sink. Some of the other reviewers mentioned no blinds. There were blinds for privacy. They allowed the light to come through, so it was difficult to sleep in. I would...

"We were excited about hearing that the Johnaon Hall Opera House was reopening in Gardiner and when we saw Lyle Lovett was going to perform there...the only thing left to do was find a place to stay. We loved this place!! So convenient to walk around Hallowell and enjoy antique, floral, gift shops as well as a plethera of places to grab a craft cocktail, local brew or bite to eat. Getting home from the concert and finding cheese crackers was a nice bonus. The only stressor was to choose which...
