Garnet Hill Lodge

"Loved the property. The lounge in the main lodge is welcoming and the fireplace is constructed from stone from a granite mine which is a must-see! The gardens around the building are filled will pollinator flowers and it is not unusual to see monarch butterflies enjoying them. The staff is friendly and helpful, the breakfasts are hearty and delicious and their restaurant has excellent entrees. The Adirondack Museum is only 25 miles away and it is worth going to see their exhibits. Enjoyed our stay."

"This is a cute, clean and comfortable cabin nestled in the woods and a very short walk from the edge of Oxbow Lake. The fishing is terrific and you’ll fall asleep to the sound of loons on the water. Susan is very communicative and extremely helpful. The cabin’s kitchen is well stocked with many utensils and good cookware. There really isn’t much you need to bring. There are plenty of linens, soaps, and storage bags.This is a great value and it makes for a very relaxing getaway. I would definitely recommend it to anyone."

"This was nice for a short getaway in the woods. Bonus points for allowing us to bring our dog. It was our first time "glamping". The place is clean, remote and exactly how it was described. It was just not our thing."

"This place is a gem. It wouldn't be for everyone though. If you want a bug free, dust free, full ammenity place, this isn't for you. However, if you like rustic, country charm it is! The tent was comfy! I was surprised to discover a water bed as I had never slept on one before. I was also surprised to be greeted in the morning with excitement by the farm chickens that ran for me!!! I felt the chicken love even though I didn't have the food they desired. The hot tub is wonderful and super remote and private. Would stay here again!!!"
Lake Pleasant Cabin on 3 Acres w/ Private Beach!

"The Lake House had plenty a room for all of us. The smaller cabin was also adequate room for all of us. Had a great time. Everything was excellent. It’s a great piece of property and Glen and Bev the owners take great care of the property. Can’t wait to go back next year."
