"Plenty of parking. Location is close to several restaurants, gas stations and the freeway. Room was clean and the A/C worked great! Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly. Only caveat was the TV & remote was wonky (it didn't load up the tv guide by default when I turned it on and I couldn't change volume). It took me 15 minutes to finally figure it out whenI had to reset the TV by unplugging it & plugging it back in and then it worked great. Also, there was no tissue for the tissue box (no biggie, I used toilet paper). "

"Prices were very reasonable. Hotel was just as advertised. Staff was super friendly and welcoming. Pool, guest room, hot tub, gym, breakfast were all clean and in good repair. Reasonable pet rates. -- this is a great place to stop for a road trip with a dog!"

Bayshore Resort at Put-in-Bay

"The grounds were maintained, however the , we paid for a jacuzzi sweet, but the tub would not plug, did not realize that until we came back to the room that first night, very disappointing as there was no one there to fix it.They do not put coffee pot`s in the room, guests have to go to the lobby, and PAY $4.00 per cup., REALLY!! The bathroom floor was dirty when we walked in, shower was cleanish, but, caulking around the inside shower, seemed to have had mold. The beds are extremely high, but comfortable.. The outdoor pool and hot tub were nice.. The Tiki bar was great, the bartender was very sociable, did his job well. We reserved this for 2 nights, but were not able to leave, We went down to reserve for Saturday night as well,. We had to change rooms, understandable, but we were put on the second floor, which was not a problem, but once again, the shower in this one ,was worse. Missing grout around outside shower tiles, caulking and shower seals were nasty, like it was never cleaned. beds were the same as first room. Well, then, ice machine. across our room, OUT OF ORDER!!. The HEAT/Air unit was very noisy. The toilet had a dripping sound,, which we could not figure out.Got up in the middle of the night to use the restroom, The toilet handle fell right of the toilet.. I did not stay there to continually have to have maintenance come clean or fix things. We paid a lot of money for this room, and what a disappointment it was."

"Wish I had known about the midge bugs hatching season in advance. It was epically gross with those tiny bugs inside and outside the cabin as well as around the rides on 1/2 the island. I feel like I should have gotten a discount for dealing with all that. Also, people should know there are no plates, utensils, dish soap, cleaning products, etc so you need to bring in everything. Nobody is coming to clean like they would in a hotel room. We had ants as well so it would have been nice to have some small supplies on hand to properly sanitize the cabin eating and food prep areas."

"Our stay was good , the rooms were clean! The pictures of the pools didnt look how it does there was bug in the hot tub coming in from under the door by the hot tub and breakfast was good although the pictures shown are different they have a selected few things out but all in all it was good!"
