The house is fabulous and the grounds perfect; a hugely characterful old stone house subtly furnished with a mix of old and new but equipped with all you need for a home from home. "The home was beautiful and confortable. Fran was bery nice and brought his daughter to help with English. The only drawback was location. It was not convenient to Santiago because getting a taxi was hard. Taxis from Santiago woild not come to us and were not familiar with the address. Fran helped order a local taxi for us. It was easier once we had a car. If you are doing the Camino stay in Santiago downtown. If you want a peaceful country setting, this home is good."
