"This is a nice hotel in a great location. Don’t get the small room- they are TiNY! Staff were very helpful getting us upgraded to a bigger room, which was very nice. But with how much rooms cost, it would have been nice to have a good coffee maker in the room, rather than a few small packets of instant coffee!! Also staff could be a little more friendly. Asking guests how the stay was, if the room was good, something that shows interest in the customer experience goes a long way. And I think should be part of a boutique hotel way of conducting business."

"Great location & enjoyed our stay Good room with harbour/opera house view (paid for upgrade!) Basic amenities in room Never stayed in hotel where you needed to pay to use the pool!! Hallmarks of 5 star establishment but missing in some areas Particularly slippery shower floor - 2 requests for shower mat but no action! Had a sense passing tourists krone very important to hotel"

"The breakfast was wonderful; the property was clean and beautiful and Glen the morning/daytime front desk is fantastic. Our room was ready early and was clean and nice. The location of the hotel is fabulous. The older man who is at the front desk in the early morning is not so nice and if you talk to him, you will soon find that you are clearly bothering him and he really does not want to talk to you and any questions will be answered with great annoyance from him. I suggest waiting till Glen comes on duty, he will answer with a smile."

"My stay here felt like a little pocket of comfort and calm. The staff were wonderfully professional while still being warm and welcoming, making everything feel effortless from the moment I arrived. The bed deserves a special mention—it was so comfortable and the breakfast had a lovely selection, best scrambled eggs ever! The location was another delight, perfectly placed near the harbour and safe. All in all, it was a charming stay that left me with a smile and a strong temptation to book another visit....."
