"What a superb new hotel! VERY impressed. Myanmar is just starting to develop and many hotels simply don't cut it especially for what international tourists require. This is exceptionally well priced and you would pay a great deal more if closer to town for the same comfort. Unfortunately if you find the correct map it's located outside the main town and many locals don't know it. "People were great!!!
They made us feel at home and even brought a band to play some nice Christmas songs for all the guests.
I must mention however that there is no electricity during the day.

"the hotel doesnt exist!! we arrived to the property, pre-paid for two rooms only to realize this property has been shut down for over a year. the phone numbers listed on Expedia for the hotel doesnt work either. so we were left to fend for ourselves and find alternative hotel very painfully this weekend. A major scam and a big, freaking disappointment both about the hotel but importantly EXPEDIA for not doing their due diligence. and I have been trying to reach Expedia to get reimbursed, if...

"Saw Nyein San was the highlight of our entire trip to Myanmar. The amazing, friendly, generous staff run a very clean, comfortable guesthouse, and are very helpful with any travel needs. Our room was clean, insect-free, and had strong A/C - everything you'd want in a Burmese guesthouse.
Also, the staff makes an incredible breakfast that we looked forward to each day in Bagan - definitely try their mohinga and Shan noodles! Delicious fresh fruit and fruit juices, snacks, and other foods too,...
