The Veil Hotel in Astana offers modern, elegant design and spacious, well-appointed rooms. The spa facilities are excellent—peaceful, clean, and professionally run. The restaurants serve high-quality food with great presentation and atmosphere. Staff are attentive and provide smooth service throughout the stay.
Absolutely recommended! The only negative thing was that I can say there was lack of comfort chair on the lobby area. So nice designed very stylish hotel. You may want to spend more quality time there…
Particular and beautiful decoration. The staff is wonderful. Have a very famous restaurant. Just I didn’t like the bathroom, the sink is not very comfortable as it should be unusual bathroom
Exclusive modern designers hotel with huge beautiful rooms, all in wood panneling, high seilings, very close to the government quarters on rhe river bank. Very good 4 restaurants 8n different styles. Spa. Fare pricing.
The hotel is wonderful, the restaurants are great, the staff is fantastic. The only thing I would change is to allow water to be thrown on the rocks in the sauna. The HUUM Electric sauna stove is designed for allowing water on the stones and the sauna is beautiful, but there is a sign not allowing. This is a mistake by the management that needs to be reviewed to make this spa area perfect.

Liked: Cleanliness
While The Veil is a beautifully designed hotel, it's also a glaring example of "form over function." First of all, I would not recommend staying at this hotel in the winter. None of the windows are double-paned, and all of the common areas, including the restaurants, are freezing cold. I even felt bad for staff. To make matters worse, the heater didn't work in our room. And, while they did eventually move us to a warmer room, it took them 2 days to do so, and only after they continued to assure us the heater worked fine. It didn't, as the room they finally moved us to was significantly warmer. Not only did they not apologize for this hassle, or help us switch rooms, but on multiple occasions staff members entered our room without knocking first! Good restaurants, good location, but the staff needs some serious training. And again, while the hotel might be comfortable in the summer months, it certainly wasn't a place I'd recommend in December.
Staff is friendly, helpful and professional
attention to details is seen everywhere
Hotel is beautiful and unique, not like any other hotels
Located close to everything you may need
Staff were inattentive. At check in I asked to combine my two reservations and was told someone would get back to me, no one did. At check out, it was a near argument with the staff (who were asleep when I was trying to leave) about them saying I needed to have my room checked before I was “allowed” (in his words) to leave. Other staff didn’t speak English and were unhelpful when I tried to communicate over Google translate.
My room was not cleaned one of the nights I stayed.
I expected more from a hotel of this caliber.
