"We were there only for 1 night, on a Sunday, so the hotel had very few guests, and there was little open in town. The hotel is in walking distance to the train station. The breakfast was very nice. The front desk, and the bar, closes completely around 7:30-8 daily. Once it's closes you can only enter in through a side door with a key card."

"If you’re looking for the best place to stay in the Wachau, this is it. Dürnstein is the jewel of the region and this is a beautiful, classy and unique hotel with gorgeous gardens, a nice outdoor pool and views of the Danube. The restaurant is excellent too, and breakfast is wonderful! The staff is helpful in renting bikes, which are the best way to see the valley if you’re able."
