Chiemsee Barrierefrei offers holiday apartments that welcome people with and without disabilities. Our goal is to provide a relaxing holiday for everyone in a pleasant setting. We offer a well-equipped, new building from 2023 with a large garden.
Our family apartment—ideal for families with and without disabilities—measures 60 square metres, featuring two bedrooms, a kitchen/dining area, and a bathroom. You’ll also have your own terrace with a panoramic view. The apartment has its own fully equipped kitchen. It is fully accessible for wheelchair users in accordance with DIN 18040 and is located on the ground floor with no thresholds. All doors, patio doors, and turning circles (150 cm) are also suitable for wider electric wheelchairs. All information is provided in easy-to-read language as well as in Braille. When you book the family apartment, you have access to all complimentary amenities such as bicycles, go-karts, the sound and sensory garden, etc.—all of which are, of course, fully accessible. A parking space, Wi-Fi, bed linens, final cleaning, and towel service are included; a free washing machine and dryer are also available to our guests (not physically accessible). The family apartment features a modern and appealing design. The double bed is equipped with an electrically height-adjustable slatted frame, which makes getting in and out easier. Additional care or assistive devices can be provided upon prior request. A free baby cot is also available. A baby changing table is provided. The family apartment can accommodate up to six people. Pets are welcome subject to prior approval. Use our family apartment as a base for day trips to Lake Chiemsee, the Alps, and the surrounding historic old towns.
