The COVID-19 outbreak has transformed the world in countless ways, including how we're able to travel safely. The following tips will help you better understand the new challenges and prepare you for your flight to Noya:

• Before booking your flight, find out if any travel restrictions or bans apply — in both your origin and destination. Get the latest updates by reviewing official government websites.
• You're required to wear a face mask at the airport, even at screening checkpoints. Be prepared to adjust your mask to verify your identity when asked by a TSA employee.
• Instead of handing a TSA employee your boarding pass, position it directly on the scanner yourself. When that's done, hold it up for inspection.
• You can now take one container of hand sanitizer up to 12 oz (350 ml) in your carry-on baggage. You'll need to remove it for X-ray screening.
• Place any personal items (phone, keys and wallet) in your carry-on rather than a bin to reduce handling during the screening process.
• Separate any food you're carrying for X-ray screening. Food items often trigger the alarm. Putting them in a clear plastic bag and into a bin reduces the need for a TSA agent to touch and inspect your belongings.
