Notre-Dame of Dalbade Church is an impressive religious structure recognizable by the colorful carvings above the portal. It has an elegant interior with a tall ceiling and brilliantly colored stained-glass windows. Snap photos of the intriguing frontage of the church, which comprises a complex rose window and arched portals.

Inspect the intricate carvings in the tympanum, the smaller semi-circular pediment above the doors. It features a colorful portrayal of the crowning of the Virgin Mary made from ceramics of Italian Renaissance design. Gaze up at the statue of Saint Germier among the sculptures lining the walls.

Enter the church and appreciate the bright, airy ambiance from the light penetrating the colorful stained-glass panels. The highlight of the interior is the 19th-century French symphonic organ. Inspect the nuanced features of the enormous musical instrument. Hear the organ in action and appreciate the reverberations around the nave.

Browse the range of religious artifacts on display in the church. Admire the Madonna and Child, in which the Madonna appears to wear a different gown every month. See the draped Ecce Homo statue, the baptismal font and the 16th-century sculpture representing the Lamentation of Christ. Examine the paintings of Sainte Barbe and Sainte Thérèse d’Avila.

Make your way around the busy area surrounding the church and enjoy a meal of typical French cuisine at one of the cafés or restaurants. Peruse the items for sale in the variety of shops and boutiques in this central district.

Note that the church opens daily from morning until early evening. On Sundays it closes early.
