Overall experience was very good. The suite was unusually decorated, large and clean. It was at the front of the hotel and there was some residual noise from the street. AC was good and housekeeping was efficient. It’s in a good location for Via Etna, Piazza Duomo and other spots and very close to a host of bars and restaurants.
The staff were friendly and helpful when I needed to interact with them.
The breakfast buffet was adequate but not in keeping with the style or ‘sense’ of the hotel. The restaurant struggled to keep with the demand of a lot of guests having breakfast at the same time.
There was very little information about the services in the hotel. Nothing in the room or advertised around the hotel. The gym was very small.

Staff were lovely, very welcoming. Apartment was clean, well maintained and as advertised. Breakfast was lovely. Only issue for us was the need to taxis due to a lack of public transport and the walk into town wasn’t very easy. That being said we travelled with 2 children, 8 and 10

Wonderful location just a few steps from the cathedral. The rooms are simple but very nicely furnished; some with spectacular views from a balcony. The breakfast room on the top floor offers wonderful views (including of Mount Etna) and outside eating. The staff could not be more helpful or nice. There is an elevator, but it is necessary to negotiate some stairs as the levels are split. So enjoyed being right in the heart of the city. Since the windows are all double paned, the noise of the street does not penetrate.

This was a very nice hotel and easily walkable to the main city center, restaurants, and points of interest. The breakfast was very nice, and the staff was wonderful. They have a nice little lobby bar for a nightcap as well. The hotel is old, but it maintains history, authenticity, and culture. I loved the spacious rooms and sitting areas.
