Superb quiet rural getaway.

Absolutely charming. Lovely staff, great food, relaxed atmosphere, huge room with private garden. Lovely garden surrounds & quiet. Perfect way to relax & short drive to some gems & stunning restaurant recommendations. 2 nights was not long enough.

The staff are lovely from first arriving and being greeted by name before saying anything to speaking with the property owner everyone was easy to speak to and very helpful. Definitely a hidden gem of a property, it was clean and modern with a rustic touch. The pool and poolside was relaxing and having an apartment facing the setting sun was the icing on the cake. Beautiful place, extremely happy in this booking.

Simply stunning accommodation, spacious and serene. Great with kids as there is a kitchen included. Staff is lovely and cleanliness is spot on. There is a playground and the pool is really big. Only downside is that we only stayed 4 nights, should have been a week really. We will be back

Wonderful place to stay. Well located (at the top of a big hill!) and good location as a base to see all the sites in South East of Sicily. Beautifully decorated and friendly staff. Twice weekly local dinner on site and lovely breakfast available daily (at extra charge). Weather wasn’t great for us so didn’t make use of all of the pool / outdoor facilities, but great to have the option!

Quiet and relaxing Masseria near Noto

Quiet relaxing stay at this newly refurbished Masseria. The staff were particularly helpful - especially Giuseppe and Marielena. Stylish rooms, lovely relaxing pool, quiet locale, no intrusions, friendly service by the pool, healthy tasty breakfasts. Lots of interesting places within an hour or do drive. All in all a very pleasant soggiorno.

The Peacocks @ Rosolini

A wonderful stay at the Masseria del Carrubo. A really large apartment (1 of 17), equipped for self catering if you so wanted. All the staff were a delight with special thanks to Rita for helping us with flight cancellations, Joanna for serving us our wonderful breakfast (great latte, Joanna), Daniel for local help and Fabio for poolside drinks. The Masseria is very geared for family holidays with a small playground and a couple of small football goals. Great Wi-Fi coverage. All in all; highly recommended and would love to return.

The place is lovely and we had a relaxing stay. Breakfasts were excellent wth great coffee. It was the beginning of the season and the place was undergoing alot of maintenance. This was a little annoying as we were paying full price and so expected everything to be in order. They really should not be doing noisy construction work whilst guests are having their breakfast!

Better for families with kids than for couples

Charming building and property. However a children’s playground next to the swimming pool mean this isn’t a suitable choice for couples looking to relax next to the pool. Kids were also kicking their ball against the courtyard wall and someone’s toddler walked into our bedroom one morning. Some of the furniture is pretty worn and should be replaced (in courtyard). Nearest town Rosolini has supermarkets and restaurants but is run down and not scenic, at least not the parts we saw! So you have to drive 20-30 min to go somewhere scenic, like Noto. It was clean and staff is friendly.

Wij vonden het een prachtig en ruim appartement. Schitterend uitzicht vanuit de tuin. Wij hadden appartement ‘laboratorio’ en die tuin heeft de hele dag zon. Het zwembad was heerlijk verkoelend en mooi schoon. Het personeel, echt iedereen, was heel lief en vriendelijk. Ook de dames van de schoonmaak, die mogen zeker niet vergeten worden want iedere dag werd het schoongemaakt. We hebben ook 1x gebruik gemaakt van het ontbijt én 1x van het diner. Dat laatste was subliem! Joseppe is een geweldige chef!

Personal war super nett. Es ist total ruhig und hat eine schöne Lage. Wir haben Familien Suite gehabt, jede hat genug Platz aber am Abend haben wir mehr Lampen gebraucht. Gerade bei der Küche und Esstisch hat Beleuchtung gefehlt. Nächste Problem war im Badezimmer, in der Dusche mussten wir alle Duschgels und Schampon auf den Boden stellen müssen, weil da keine Halterung war. Das war ärgerlich. Die Toilette sollten sie auch reparieren.

Sehr schöne Umgebung, und Anlage

Top Anlage, wahnsinnig schöne Gartenanlage und Gebäude, einzig die Innenarchitektur ist geschmacksache. Zimmer etwas spartanisch (man hätte dies schöner gestalten können, etwas modern und ohne Wärme, eher Spitalmässig/Bauhaus) , Frühstück auch nicht top, aber korrekt. Over all ein schöner Aufenthalt, guter Service, sehr schöne Anlage und Aussicht /Flora.

Una chicca in Sicilia

Location molto bella, nel cuore della Sicilia, comodissima per raggiungere sia le località' di mare che quelle storiche. Camere ampie con tutti i confort necessari. Un plauso al personale sempre preciso e disponibile. Un plus e' la possibilita' di avere posti riservati presso la spiaggia di Carratois al Pura Vida. Colazione assolutamente da prenotare. Bravi davvero.

Schöne Anlage, aber viel Verbesserungspotential

Die Anlage und der Poolbereich sind wirklich wunderschön und die Zimmer gross und sehr geräumig. Die Mitarbeitenden am Empfang oder beim Frühstück waren sehr herzlich. Leider war unser Geschirrspüler defekt, so dass mehrfach Handwerker in unserem Zimmer waren, ohne dass sich etwas verbessert hat. Dadurch mussten wir das Geschirr mehrfach von Hand sowie den nassen Boden reinigen. Am letzten Tag standen dann noch 3 Handwerker mit schmutzigen Schuhen und ohne Voranmeldung in unserem Zimmer. Der gesamte Boden war schmutzig und ein Teil der Küchenfeont entfernt und lag auf dem Boden, was mit unserem Kleinkind nicht gerade toll war. Es gab leider keinen Preisnachlass oder ähnliches. Unser Zimmer war während des gesamten Aufenthalts zudem sehr feucht, wobei auch die Klimaanlage nicht helfen konnte. Der Spielplatz wäre für Kinder wirklich toll. Jedoch scheint seit Längerem nichts mehr gemacht worden zu sein: Überall hohes Gras und Gebüsch und viele Ameisennester, wodurch das Spielen unangenehm wurde.
