"Great location for Wall Drug (5 min walk), Badlands (Pinnacles entrance about 15 mins), easy on and off highway. Nice variety at breakfast, today cut up strawberries 😃, great trail mix, hard boiled eggs and more. Very limited seating. Gas stations close, DQ. My 1st room hadn't been cleaned, was fixed quickly with another room. Did has to get key reactivated day 2. Fortunately I was very near front desk so less of a problem. Wifi kept turning off periodically has to resign in several times. TV also needed sign in, only got it to work once. Very confusing. Nice rockers out front of hotel. Was surprised that not even the trash was emptied during my 2 night stay. Keurig with coffee and tea in room as well as frig and micro. Perfect set up for my time at Badlands."

"The air-conditioning in the room could not keep up during the hot hours of the day. It was also very loud. The hotel is an old structure, but nicely renovated. The safety lock on the door was concerning: not easy to use in the event of a fire."

"Perfectly-placed accommodations for our road trip. The staff was very friendly, and the space itself was welcoming and comfortable. For a budget option, we were pleased to have toiletries and a light breakfast provided. For those driving, there are multiple gas options in the area, as well as several restaurants nearby for a quick meal. Our only note is that there seemed to be some sort of air freshener or strongly-scented cleaner used in the room, which could be an issue for those who are sensitive to strong smells. We didn't mind and will definitely return the next time we're in the area."
