"Staff originally did not see my reservation as it seemed like another staff cancelled it before I arrived and there was no manager on site. The staff member did do what she could to fix the issue quickly and was very pleasant to work with. She was apologetic about the situation.
Included breakfast was horrible and morning staff did not seem to want to set up additional food when they ran out. They didn’t have much food options to begin with. Staff wasn’t interested in cleaning breakfast area and seemed to have their children there while they were to be working. Staff also didn’t know how to fix machine that served yogurt and wasn’t interested in figuring it out.
Room was clean and pool was nice but there were no towels available."
"Im assuming the owner is who checked me in. Not very nice during check in. And then he came to ask my kids and I if we had a reservation, while we were swimming, asked my last name and room # and asked if we shut the door, To the outside(door went to the outside from where the pool and spa were) we did not, it was shut when we got there. Assuming for humidity purposes, but he wasnt very nice about it. And acted like we had snuck in to swim. This was on the 2nd night we stayed. However the guy on morning was a delight. I think he cleans the rooms, checks out and does the breakfast. Was very helpful and super nice. Got anything we needed and made sure we were OK! The owner could take note on this behavior. Hit tub wasnt very warm, and I was afraid to turn it on. Made a loud noise. There were no signs not to use."
"Entering the office it was old and unkept the attendant was hard to understand. He asked if any of us smoked and looked at my 12 year old and asked if she smoked which was appalling to me. When we get into the room it smelled musty like no one had bothered to clean it in a while, there is cigarette holes on both bed blankets, the faucet in the bathroom tub was leaking, the shower curtain looked like there was mold in it, there was no tissues in the container, the TV was unplugged and the cable for the channels not plugged in at we had to get the guy to come and help trouble shoot it pool was out of order which devastated my daughter. She begged to just sleep in the car that she would feel safer in there than the room. We didn't shower in the room because we were unsure if the shower leak would get worse or not. It was a really bad experience especially since it was said that it was under new management and updated. I really feel like I was conned. I will never go there again even if they gave me a room!"
"Half our room didn’t work and the staff tried to tell us we were wrong. The worst part was there were bed bugs and the management didn’t want to help us. They offered us $6 for laundry for four people and that was only after we continued to complain about it. Their initial response was just to make us check out and leave early and only give us a refund for the one night we stayed. Would not recommend this place to anymore."
"Very disappointing experience from the moment we arrived. The self-check-in kiosks were not working for me and several other guests, which created a long line. To make matters worse, there was only one employee handling check-ins, so it took an unreasonably long time just to get our room.
Unfortunately, things did not improve after check-in. The room had a noticeable bad odor, and when we checked the bunk beds, there were old chips and debris underneath the mattress that looked like they had been there for a very long time. The cleanliness and overall upkeep were far below what I would expect from a family resort.
The water park itself was also underwhelming and poorly maintained compared to other indoor water parks we have visited. For nearly $500 per night, the value simply is not there.
The 4.2-star rating completely fooled me. Between the long check-in wait, lack of cleanliness, and disappointing facilities, this was one of the worst resort and water park experiences we’ve had. I would not stay here again, especially at this price point."
