Fantastic breakfast with lovely accommodating staff. More than happy to assist always. Don’t be put off with the distance from town - cheap taxi ride and easy bike ride. A relaxing and quiet place to stay. Highly recommended!

We had a great stay. What a beautiful property! We loved the decor, and all the spaces to hang out in. The 2 full kitchens in the common areas were great, and great espresso! Good coffee is hard to find in the area! Bed and pillows were comfy, and the service was friendly. We were especially grateful to be able to do laundry there, saved us having to find a laundromat!

Having come from another top local hotel and been rather disappointed, Desertica was a breath of fresh air. We were warmly greeted and given detailed local info by the excellent friendly warm front office person. The room was exceptional, as were the hotel grounds. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wish it could have been longer

We LOVED this hotel! San Pedro Atacama is a dry dusty place but the minute you entered the front door of this charming hotel, you felt as though you were in a little piece of paradise. The staff were very helpful, especially Cynthia who assisted when we checked in, but also when we left. She went above and beyond the call of duty when our transfer didn’t arrive (we stupidly didn’t arrange it through the hotel, but direct with a tour company). We would have missed the plane without her...

Gigi and Paula were great during our stay. I highly recommend this place for couples who are looking for a peaceful place.
