"Clean room, friendly helpful staff, not a great part of San Francisco."

"The hotel has great views of Carmel & a glimpse of the ocean. Our room was very clean If the weather had been cooler we would have used our fireplace. The grounds are well maintained & the neighborhood is quiet. Our only negative was the limited choice at breakfast"

"Parking is outrageous to charge paying guests - then leave the lot unsecure all night with gate arms up. "

"Bring an eye mask, the fire suppression system had a flashing light right by the bed. No toilet privacy in loft room but great for a solo traveler. Very convenient to the BART, Muni rail, and F streetcar. Most won't want to stroll the immediate area much, but there is a nice little Parisian cafe that opens at 5am and a Walgreens that opens at 8."
