"We loved the location. It was in the park but still close to restaurants and stores outside the park. The pizza restaurant at the lodge was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The only disappointment was that there was no microwave in the room. "

"Beautiful location and very close to everything. Lodge is well kept and tries hard to do more for the environment too. Our room was lovely, everything worked. It was unfortunately right next to the ice machine which you could hear constantly, but most rooms would avoid that. There are options for eating (in park and in the nearest town). We brought our own breakfast options and saved quite a bit of money and got to eat it sat in the grounds watching elk, birds, chipmunks etc."

"the hotel was fantastic....we would have loved to stay longer but had to make it back to Los Angeles in one go...so unfortunately we had to get up and get out at 6am...but the staff were lovely and the rooms comfortable and the grounds beautiful. There is also a big store with a lot of local artisans represented...and a lot of history to the spaces...I would definitely go back! "
