Thunderbird Lodge

Thunderbird Lodge

10/10 Excellent
"Great place to stay for exploring Canyon de Chelly, and the guided tour of the canyon floor is a worthwhile experience that you can book on site (do it well in advance if you prefer a certain time slot though!) Cafeteria has good food, too."

"I always like parking in front of the room. You can do that here. I liked the pool access. The sliding glass door also lets in a lot of light. The mattress was the best one on our trip."

La Posada Hotel

La Posada Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"This classic hotel is awesome! Despite no elevator & a long walk from my car to my room with baggage, the atmosphere, history, gardens & trains make up for it all. I stayed in the Bob Hope room & had a lovely night's stay, & sipped a mimosa on the balcony the next morning. The Turquoise Room restaurant for brunch was absolutely amazing, & i loved my meal as i watched the trains go by from my table. The gardens outside, waterworks, & elegant artwork in the hotel wings leading up to my room were beautiful to look at as well. If I am ever in Winslow again, La Posada will definitely be my hotel stay."
