The house was amazing, tons of bedrooms and baths, well stocked kitchen for cooking, plenty of towels, and had games/puzzles to entertain us when the rain came. Location is great, walking distance to all the North Woodstock restaurants and east drive to hiking trails.
This was our 2nd time staying at The Mitchell House for a long weeked with extended family - it's the perfect spot! Has everything we need: plenty of space, very convenient and just a short walk to restaurants, shopping & the river. The big screened porch is a perfect spot for morning coffee, rainy days and games at night. Highly recommend!
My friends and I had a wonderful weekend at this location. It was a great way to start the summer. Plenty of space for the seven of us, plenty of neat spaces to congregate, and to enjoy, and all-around great homebase for a weekend away in the white mountains.

Property owner was nosing around while we were gone. Made us feel uncomfortable.
Private shady home near many White Mountains attractions; this home feels like a comfortable family camp, very welcoming and well-equipped. We were especially impressed with how well the kitchen was set up with lots of pots and pans, dishes and various utensils. Nice back yard and screen porch great for summer visit. We were there during bike week which was means traffic noise into the late evening hours. Short walk to restaurants, gift shops, family friendly arcade open until 11pm, and fun water play spot on the Pemi. Lots to offer in a small downtown area.
House was gorgeous. Old so it was creaky and squeaky but furnished well and had everything we needed. Tv in living room was not working and we didn’t receive any assistance with it but other than that, it was a great trip.

Outstanding!
This house had absolutely everything we needed for a family reunion of 11 (mix of elders, adults & teens) and just a short walk to everything! Lovely refurbished home in quiet neighborhood - plenty of space, beds/bathrooms, and well-stocked kitchen with every appliance you could need. Host was wonderful and a joy to work with. We'll definitely be back!

Great Location!
I loved the feel of the old home in every aspect (except the lack of air conditioning). It was spacious enough for our family gathering. I loved Cascade Park bring within walking distance just down the street. My granddaughter loved having a pond to find frogs in and I loved the cascading of water over the huge boulders without having the drive the Kanc to see & hear water over rocks. My grandchildren had souvenir shops to browse and the grownups loved the best Pie Shop ever within walking distance😊
