Beachfront on our private beach! Driftwood Cottage - Pipers' Shore

Pipers’ Shore Cottages are 3 cottages nestled on an acre and a half of private beach front property in picturesque North Truro. Our idyllic Beach Point location offers 120 feet of private beach on one of the nicest bathing beaches on Cape Cod. Our beach offers spectacular views of Cape Cod Bay, Long Point Lighthouse, and Provincetown. Pipers’ Shore Cottages are ideally situated to provide guests with a quiet comfortable home base close to many of the best vacation, dining, and entertainment opportunities the Outer Cape has to offer. Each cottage has a private deck or porch with amazing views where guests can relax and enjoy time with their families and friends. Guests looking to take in the natural beauty of the Outer Cape will be able to visit the nearby Cape Cod National Seashore and Race Point. Naturalists will find the birding at Beech Forest excellent or a whale watching trip exciting. Vibrant Provincetown is mere minutes away and can offer those interested in shopping many interesting shops and galleries. Foodies will find excellent restaurants and bars within a short ride from the cottages. Those looking for cultural events, music, or theater will be rewarded by many of the performances available throughout the season. Romantics will appreciate climbing the steps at Highland Lighthouse for beautiful views of the Cape or walking at sunrise or sunset on the unspoiled beaches. Those looking for more active pursuits will find that biking, water sports, hiking, and outdoor opportunities abound. Families will appreciate the nostalgic outdoor drive-in movies, miniature golf, and evening ice cream tastings together.

For your convenience, we offer three separate cottages. These can be rented individually or together for larger gatherings. Few properties in the area allow the degree of flexibility in terms of accommodations and the potential privacy that Pipers' Shore Cottages offer.

Driftwood is our most spacious cottage. It was built in the 1890s and is one of only a handful of the original homes left at Beach Point. It allows up to 8 guests to rest in three comfortable bedrooms and on a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. It is charming and adorned with period characteristics including a wraparound porch, wide pine floors and wainscoting. That is not to say it isn’t modernized and updated with modern appliances and amenities. The cottage has been recently updated and has many amenities that our guests desire. Driftwood is air conditioned and has an enclosed private outdoor shower. A gas fireplace allows for cozy evenings when the weather is cool. A washer and dryer is available for guest use.

Highly recommend

This cottage was a short 10 minute drive to Provincetown. It was convenient in that it was close to P-Town but felt like we were on our own private slice of the ocean. The home is tastefully decorated, filled with all the necessities for a comfortable stay, and close to the highway for heading to nearby towns. Clean, cute and comfortable. Loved it! Would stay again.

We took our little bub to this stay for 3 days. It was really convenient for us. The house has all the amenities mentioned. The private beach is a plus! Would recommend this over and over.

Such a relaxing fun weekend

We rented this home to celebrate my sisters birthday. We loved being able to walk to the beach and sit out back and enjoy the sun. The drive to Ptown and Wellfleet was quick. The home had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The owners were very easy to deal with. We would definitely love to rent from the wonderful owners again.

Cape Escape

We loved our time at the cottage! The location can't be beat and allowed for the kids to run around on the beach without having to leave home. It was our first visit to Truro and we fell in love with the convenience and low-key vibe. I highly recommend reading the travel guide provided by the owners. Restaurant recommendations were on point and I felt like a local with all my newfound knowledge. We can't wait to visit again, thanks for having us!

The Ideal Cape Cod Experience

I used to stay in this cottage with my family for a week or two every summer growing up, and I can say that it has been improved since then in every way. The space is updated and clean, with modern appliances in the kitchen and washer/dryer included. Check in was smooth and we had a lovely time the whole week. Even an issue with one of the air conditioners on day one was resolved quickly by the owners. We loved our time here and hope to stay again for many years to come!

Driftwood dreamy

A couple of friends and myself spent two nights , on the bay in this sea side house , Beautiful area , comfortable home , kitchen was well stocked . Beds were very comfortable. A lovely week on the cape

A slice of heaven!

This amazing property is all it is advertised to be and more! It's location is perfect for a spectacular beach day, a magnificent sunset or a short trip to lively Provincetown! This house is filled with a tasteful coastal decor as well as all of the essentials of feeling like you are "away" while having the comforts of home! Brice and Michelle are fantastic and communication was superb! We were 6 adults who all had an amazing vacation and look forward to returning!

Great Spot!

We had a wonderful stay! You cannot beat the location— close enough to Provincetown that it’s not a hassle to go in while far enough that you can relax on the private beach. At low tide, the water is shallow and great for kids. The house itself is a great beach cottage that is fully stocked with ample parking. Close to the bus stop to go into town. We wished it had a grill, but were able to bring a small one to use in the parking lot. Great communication from the hosts, and they even shared a guide to the area with recommendations for everything you’d need. Overall, we would recommend this property to anyone!

The most amazing 5-day Fall Break for the girls coming in from around the world to celebrate my 50th. Lots of sea “swimming”, brilliant outdoor shower and wraparound decks. Super comfy beds and whole house beautifully set up.

Perfect Beach Get Away

Myself and 6 friends stayed here for a long weekend and it was amazing. The perfect amount of space, a beautiful home, and the beach is beautiful and right there! Also there’s a free bus right to Provincetown. We’re already thinking about booking again!

This was a great place for my bachelorette party! Right on the beach and in a beautiful cottage. It also involved only a short drive to Commercial St with lots of windows to look out onto the water. We were so appreciative of Brice & Michelle's kind communications leading up to our stay!
