"Mai Kai" Recently renovated Oceanfront Ground Floor Condo - Kaibo Yacht Club II

“Mai Kai”is a beautiful recently renovated 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom water front condo at Kaibo Yacht Club Phase II, located in the heart of the Cayman Kai community and Rum Point, a world-renowned vacation destination in Grand Cayman.
“Mai Kai” at ground floor level gives you direct easy access to the gorgeous beach through the privately screened outdoor patio seating area. Just steps away is the large pool and hot tub, surrounded with an abundance of lounge chairs and hammocks to laze away the days with the lovely views and incredible sunsets. Choose to Grill al fresco day or night on the private grill right outside your patio door or, for your convenience, visit the neighboring beachfront restaurant, bar and coffee shop which are all fantastic and truly emphasize the relaxed island vibe. Two kayaks are also included for you to explore the beautiful surrounding waters!

Kitchen / Living Area
The well equipped kitchen has granite counter tops and all amenities including fridge freezer, oven, cook top, microwave and dishwasher (fully stocked with all of the essential cookware and utensils) The dining area spills into the living area with a huge comfortable sectional sofa from which to relax, enjoy the beach view or watch the large flat screen HDTV at your leisure. Cable, Wi-Fi internet access and telephone (landline telephone for use by guests to make local calls only) all available.

Master Bedroom
The master bedroom has fantastic views of the beach with easy access through sliding doors to the screened patio outdoor area. The spacious layout features a king size bed, a large walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower.   

Second Bedroom
The second bedroom has 2 twin xl beds (which can be converted to a king size bed upon request) and spacious closet.

There is also a second full bathroom with bath/shower combo.

Elizabeth has thought of everything her guests could need for the perfect stay. We enjoyed heading out in the kayaks she provided,the cooler, the beach chairs, etc. Such thoughtfulness definitely enhanced our week at Mai Kai!

This is an immaculate unit right on the beach in Rum Point. The beds are comfortable, the AC is refreshing after a day outside at the pool or beach, and you will have everything you need in the kitchen. This is definitely a 5 star stay.

We stayed during February break and had a great time! The condo is right on the beach and having the beach club next door was very convenient. We enjoyed the screened in porch and the pool and hot tub as well. It’s a beautiful spot.

Great Quiet Place

I stayed in this location and at a hotel at Seven Mile Beach. I enjoyed this location so much more because of its serenity and family-friendly environment. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. The pool and beach were well-maintained. The public beach next door was closed, so we may have gotten lucky there were so few people around.

Love Mai Kai… again! :)

This was our second time renting Mai Kai and we loved it again. It’s a great location, close to rum point, but with the quiet we were looking for! Very clean and comfortable beds. Kaibo is a perfect spot to get away from the busy Seven mile but get a wonderful vacation experience. If you’re looking for some place, stay here!

Beautiful island getaway

Wonderful condo right on beach. Condo was everything it was advertised. Clean, in excellent condition and literally a few feet to the beach and the pool. Very quiet beach but 2 minute walk to the yacht club door seaside drinks or great meal. Host is wonderful.

Spring break

Beautiful place to stay! Excellent view of beach/ocean from condo. Great pool/ hot tub/hammocks/lounge chairs/2 kayaks/cooler/snorkel gear..all provided. Able to walk to Starfish point. Nice roads for an easy 5k walk or run. Rum Point minutes away. Upscale Kaibo beach restaurant next door and coffee shop next door. A peaceful place to stay!

From check in to check out our experience was perfect. The property was well appointed, clean and perfectly situated in Rum Point. The private beach was perfect, out son proposed to his girlfriend while walk on the beach.

Great stay!

This was a perfect condo for our family of 4. As soon as we opened the door, it smelled clean. Everything we needed to start our vacation was there, dish soap, trash bags… We loved having the kayaks to use and beach chairs for our visits to other beaches. Pool floats and beach towels were great too. The decor was beautiful, and the furniture was comfortable.

This was a beautiful condo at a beautiful location. Very upscale! The location could not be beat. We were right on the beach with the pool and hot tub a few steps away. We especially enjoyed kayaking down to Starfish Point. The only downside is that there are not many restaurants to choose from and this side of the island.

Amazing Property!

Mai Kai was amazing! The property was very clean and offered additional amenities such as coolers, rafts, a grill and kayaks, which were greatly appreciated! The pool was just a few barefoot steps away from our door and it was incredible. We loved relaxing in the pool looking out over the bay, watching boats coming and going from Kaibo. We absolutely loved Grand Cayman and really enjoyed being on that end of the island near Rum Point. Mai Kai is an amazing property and we hope to return!

The perfect getaway

We had a wonderful time at Elizabeth's condo. It was perfectly clean and had everything we needed - including beach and pool toys for the kids. We used a grocery delivery as well as a service that delivers baby equipment and the host was excellent about helping us coordinate these. The pool and beach are lovely and not crowded or busy. We loved walking the beach, checking out the dock at Kaibo and daily trips to starfish point. I can't think of anything that was lacking in this trip and we certainly hope to come back someday.

Perfect getaway

The condo was the perfect quiet property for our stay in the Caymans. Love walking right out to the beach and pool area. Beds and pillows are very comfortable, kitchen has good stock of items to cook a meal. We used the kayaks to paddle around and see the starfish, was a highlight of our trip. Thankful for extra touches like the room darkening shades. The restaurant Kaibo next door has a fun beach BBQ on Tuesday evenings, reservation is needed. We enjoyed going to the Chrystal Caves, Rum Point, 7 Mile beach, fishing excursion and trying various beach restaurants around the north and east side of the island. It was a perfect condo to kick back and relax!

Perfect location and stay!

This property’s location alone makes it worth every penny. The beach is literally just steps away, and you’re also within a few footsteps of Kaibo restaurant and coffee shop—super convenient for morning lattes or casual meals.The home is stocked with everything you need for a beach day: tons of floaties, kayaks, and snorkel gear. The water is incredibly calm, making it perfect for paddling—kayaking to Starfish Point and spotting starfish along the way was a highlight of our trip.The condo itself is well maintained and outside is beautifully groomed each morning by the property management team. It also came with laundry detergent and all the basic kitchen essentials, which made things easy. Just a heads up: you may want to bring or buy your own toiletries like shampoo, body wash, and lotion, as those weren’t provided. Plenty of towels were stocked, though!Elizabeth was amazing—she responded quickly to any questions, and we had the pleasure of meeting her and her husband. They were an absolute delight!We did walk to Rum Point Club (about a mile away) one day for a change of scenery and a bit more wave action, but we kept coming back to this property. Between the beach, hammocks, peaceful pool, and stunning views, this spot was our favorite by far.I’ll definitely be coming back to this property!

Mai Kai Vacay

Dad, Mom and 2 adult daughters loved our stay at Mai Kai. If you are good with slowing down, unplugging, and soaking in some sun in one of prettiest part of the island then this is where you need to be. This area of Cayman is super quiet and felt like our piece of paradise. Nothing better than grabbing a cup of coffee, walking 50 feet to the water's edge and plopping down in a chair basking in the morning's sun contemplating my next move. Make sure to rent a car and explore the whole island. You can drive or walk down to Starfish point to watch the sun set. Crystal Caves tour. Ocean Frontiers picks you up right outside the condo for Snorkeling and Stingray city. That was the highlight! We drove to 7 mile but it felt so busy compared to Rum Point. We couldn't wait to get back. Make sure to spend a day or two at the Rum Point beach area too. Oh yeah. This condo was perfect for our family. We cooked most of our meals. The Host is super responsive and accommodating too.

Mai Kai - perfect spot to

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mai Kai! The unit is spotless, kitchen is well stocked, even has coolers to take to the beach with you. Couch and beds are comfy, washrooms are renovated, master has a large walk in closet which has some sand toys, pool noodles and loungers, beach chairs. Bedrooms both have a black out roller shade which is a nice touch. Pool is only a few steps from your door. The grounds are well maintained and they comb the beach almost daily. You won’t be disappointed booking this unit! Elizabeth was a great host! Fast to respond and easy to communicate with. We’ve stayed on the island before and in various locations. Cayman Kai is very quiet and relaxing, with picturesque views of the bay. Not as many restaurants this side of the island. But definitely rent a car, the island is super easy to navigate. Lots of options on the east end or Borden Town way and both are only a 25 minute drive. Be sure to spend time at Starfish Point, it’s just down the road and a perfect spot to spend an afternoon.
