The Cove Hotel St.Croix

"I had such a lovely stay at The Cove Hotel in St. Croix. The space itself is beautiful—thoughtfully designed with decor that feels both stylish and inviting, without trying too hard. It immediately sets a calm, relaxing tone the moment you arrive. What really stood out to me was how tranquil the setting is. It feels tucked away in the best way, making it easy to unwind and fully enjoy the island pace. The owners were also incredibly kind and welcoming, which added a personal touch that you don’t always find. If I had to note one small downside, it would be that the WiFi connection was a bit spotty at times. That said, it really wasn’t a big deal for us since we spent most of our days out exploring St. Croix anyway. Overall, it’s a charming and peaceful place to stay, especially if you’re looking to relax and soak in the island atmosphere."

"This is it! The room is fantastic! If you love a great oceanic view with the soothing sounds of the ocean crashing against the rocks. This is it! The location is a bit secluded from the local towns buttt still within 20/30 min reach and believe me if you’re going for the views, there’s no need to leave the area. Great restaurant (AMA) on property and a few local spots a short walk away. Literally a 4 minute walk from the beach (Cane Bay). If you’re double minded… just pick this one."

"My wife and I recently enjoyed our first visit to St. Croix. It is a fascinating island with so much rich history; we made sure to explore the sights at Fort Frederik and Christiansted, and took in the beautiful views at Point Udall. The Buccaneer Resort is a lovely property, and overall, we had a good stay. The atmosphere is very quiet, the breakfast buffet was excellent, and the drinks at the beach were fantastic. Most of the staff were friendly and welcoming. However, there were a few areas where our experience didn’t quite meet expectations. During our dinner at The Terrace, we found the staff to be quite slow and inattentive, even during a slower period. Regarding our accommodations, while the room was generally fine, the beds were quite firm, making it a bit difficult to get a comfortable night's sleep. Additionally, we were disappointed that the air conditioning stopped working entirely on our final night. While we enjoyed the beauty of the resort and the island, we hope these service and maintenance issues can be addressed for future guests."

"We had an absolutely fantastic trip to St Croix. The property is absolutely lovely, well-maintained and fully stocked with everything you need to enjoy time on the island. The location is a nice central location and it doesn’t take long to get to pretty much anywhere on the island. It’s nice and quiet and a really nice neighborhood. The hosts were very hospitable and we appreciate the great communication and accommodations."

"My kids and I loved this rental! It's definitely a staycation kind of vacation...we didn't want to leave the house because the pool and ocean views were amazing! The applicances were all top notch (coffee maker, blender, etc) and the towels and bedding were all quite nice too! If you are first timers to St. Croix just know that it gets dark before 7 pm and the island essentially shuts down which was perfect for us but something to be mindful of if you are keen on night life and dinners out. The only concern we had with the rental was that several of the floor to ceiling windows didn't lock and as a single mom travelling with 4 teenagers, it made my daugther and I a bit nervous the first night however we soon realized that everyone on the island were beyond kind and helpful and we still felt plenty safe. We loved that the unit came with snorkeling gear (we used it several times and even saw sea turtles!) and our favorite activities were definitey the bioluminescent bay and just chilling at the ocean front beach bar shortly down the road. We would definitely come back!! A big thank you to Tish, who was some responsive and helpful with any questions that we had. I hope you all enjoy the rental as much as my crew and I did. Xx"
