Stunning property!
We had an amazing getaway! The property had everything we needed and more. So much space for us and our little dogs - we’ve all come home relaxed and refreshed! Plenty to explore on the property, the pool was amazing to cool down in every day and before bed, feeding the friendly horses and cows, and collecting freshly laid eggs for breakfast from the chickens. Only short drive away to local breweries for lunch. Highly recommend, thank you for having us!

Perfect luxury country stay
My bridal party & I stayed here the night before my wedding & got ready at the house. Then my husband & I stayed the night of the wedding. It was the perfect set up & so relaxing with the pool & country views. Especially loved getting to feed the horses & cattle & collect fresh eggs from the chooks. The house was perfectly presented & had all the modern luxuries.

Escape!
The most perfect home to unwind with the family. We were there for a wedding and didn’t want to leave! The house was so much nicer than we’d expected with incredible attention to detail. We will be back!

Beautiful dog friendly property
Quality accommodation very well looked after. Many outdoor areas to relax in. Great fenced in property for dogs too so that I could let my dog roam around with plenty of space and not have to watch him all the time. He had a blast and if that's important to other people who stay I highly recommend this property for people with a pet.

Complete attention to detail. Photos do not do the listing justice. Amazing property. Loved the outdoor entertaining, cooking and firepit. Kids loved feeding the horses and cows. Could not want for anything extra. Also close to pokolbin cellars, gardens and restaurants.

Our second time back to Lindsay Hideaway! The house is so well equipped with the most amazing views and glorious pool and bbq area! My 9yo loves running around feeding the cows and horses. The fresh eggs and herbs from the garden help you to feel right at home!

Perfect Getaway
Such a stunning property, well kept, well equipped and beautiful surroundings. Amazing to feed the cows, horses each day and grab fresh eggs for breakfast every morning. This has now become our yearly holiday destination. Owner was a pleasure to deal with.

We have stayed a few times now. Amazing and beautiful property, thoughtfully and very well equipped and styled. Very easy to enjoy! Always love visiting the resident horses, cows and chooks who happily provide fresh eggs for breakfast. Will definitely be back!!

Hunter Valley Hideaway

Another delightful stay
We’re quickly coming to love our regular Stayz at Lindsay Hideaway. Such a wonderful place to unwind and relax with the family. Close to everything you could possibly need but when you’re there it’s like your own little oasis in the bush. We’ll be back!

Just beautiful
The house and garden is just beautiful. one can do as much as they like in and around hunter with the great location or just spend some relaxing and enjoyable time at this house that feels secluded. It suits perfectly for our family range the age from 9 to 80. Would love to stay here again next time in the near future

Just returned from a wonderful getaway. We enjoyed everything from relaxing by pool, feeding the horses, collecting fresh eggs to scenic sunsets with kangaroos in the distance. Great accommodation with room for everyone to hang out or have a bit of an escape from one another. We are already dreaming of our next stay.

Always Great !!
Not our first time at Lindsay’s Hideaway and it never disappoints. Fantastic place to go to relax, wine tours and don’t forget music festivals with the bus pick up just down the road. It’s a place that you don’t want to tell anyone about, but you end up sharing the experience.

Fabulous home and host
Property is just perfect. We are a family of four and stayed with another family of four (x2 children 3.5 years old and x2 children 18months old). The property was spacious enough to accomodate us all, with so many different dining options in beautiful surroundings. Wonderfully presented such fun place to stay with the chickens, horses and cows our children didn’t want to leave and neither did we. The host Deidre was very easy to communicate with and attentive, leaving us a much appreciated bottle of wine and box of chocolates. This property is such a fantastic place to stay, we will definitely be back.

Trip to the wine country
Stayed at Lindsay Hideaway for a short getaway with my sisters. The house was very clean and today. Fresh eggs chocolates and wine on arrival. The grounds we’re immaculate with a variety of areas to sit and enjoy the country view. We loved the property and will definitely stay again when visiting the wineries.

Family Getaway
We had a wedding to attend to and a family members 30th birthday. We needed somewhere where we could entertain the children & Lindsay Highway provided everything we needed and anymore! We’ve created so many wonderful memories and we look forward to going back.

Girls weekend away
Great stay at LH. Beautiful property with lots to do. Very clean and comfy. Beautiful view from every seat and there’s plenty to pick from. We had a lovely time around the fire and saying hello to all the animals.

The house was super clean and comfy, outdoor sitting areas abound, loved the birds, roos, cows, horses and chickens, fire pit was a treat on a starry night and no immediate neighbours. A great place to rejuvenate!

The property and the house are excellent! The farm, gardens and outdoor areas are so enjoyable! We loved the chickens, cows and horses and having so many kangaroos around every morning and afternoon! It really felt like a home away from home. We are already planning a second trip, and maybe be able to enjoy the pool too then!

Absolutely stunning!
We have stayed at Lindsay numerous times but I'm always struck by how beautiful it is. It's a short driveway from the vineyards but you get this feeling of serenity the moment you pull up. The decor and house are all gorgeous. The beds are comfy and the house is warm. We adore it. Can't wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay! It is a magical place to relax and make memories. My 8yo loved “working on the farm”, riding bikes and marshmallows toasted on the fire. The house is exceptionally well equipped. Stunning views! There is no reason to leave to explore far beyond the gates!

Perfect Getaway Accommodation
We wished we had booked for a longer stay. We spent the weekend at Lindsay Hideaway and the stunning views and beautiful animals were a bonus to our relaxing getaway. Originally we had booked to stay at a hotel but wanted to feel like we were getting away from Sydney and Lindsay Hideaway is the perfect spot. Our dogs' non-stop wagging tails would attest that this is a perfect place for them to run and explore "country living". Great location, 10-15 min drive to popular restaurants and wineries. We would love to stay here again.

Such a lovely property
This was our second time staying at Lindsay House and it really is a lovely property. Very clean, well appointed, and thoughtful touches including 2 litres of milk and a block of butter - very useful! Very convenient position with a Coles very close by in Huntlee but still a feeling a million miles away from the city. We brought our dog with us who had a ball in the lovely fenced grounds. Kids loved feeding the animals and helping light the fire pit at night.

My daughter , myself & our very old dog stayed for 3 days to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. We had planned to visit wineries etc but Lindsay is just too nice to leave. Loved feeding the horses & cows & collecting the eggs. I can highly recommend this beautiful retreat. We will definitely be going back.

We as a Family cant stop talking about our stay, Every second was worth it. Our dog a Rhodesian Ridgeback enjoyed the most. I highly recommend and would advocate choosing this property for your Next holiday. I know We would keep going back. The Host Deidre welcomed us and was Great. the Property well maintained had all the amenities, comfortable , extremely clean and well maintained property. We loved the Horses .

This was our second visit - did not disappoint!
Absolutely everything (and more) that you could want for a family getaway! We started our days feeding the horses and cows, before collecting fresh eggs. The days were spent exploring nearby sights and restaurants. Then we would spend the afternoon with a cheese platter under one of the many al fresco areas, have a splash in the pool and explore the beautiful farm grounds. Close to all the sights and wineries and also Coles, IGA and a chemist, should you need it! Highly recommend.

Perfect Home for Family Celebration
LH was perfectly suited to our lifestyle with functional and comfortable spaces inside and out. We really enjoyed the pool, alfresco dining areas and cosy fire places. The well equipped kitchen, modern bathrooms, quality linen and interior design inclusions created a sense of home. We fell in love with the ponies Black Revolver and George and our granddaughter especially enjoyed visiting the chickens to collect the eggs. LH is a peaceful haven and we will visit again

What a magical getaway. The perfect farmstay for Adults, kids and the pooches!! The accomodation is beautiful, comfortable and they have thought of everything. Looking after the animals was a highlight and the pool and entertaining spaces are perfection. Loved everything about it.
