"This is the second time we stayed here. Everything was clean and well maintained again. Sadly the water was having more algae problems this year, but the fishing off the dock was still good (bluegill/sunnies and some bass and a few other small fish).Grill worked, but maybe could be a bit cleaner/more maintained. But interior was great again, the lake was great, weather was great, and everything inside worked wonderfully.Main bed is perhaps a bit soft/warm, but I like a firm bed.Kayaks worked well, as did swimming platform. Saw lots of wildlife, woodpeckers, bald eagles, herons, etc. Overall exactly what you are hoping for in a listing and if this property looks good to you, then you will like it. No real surprises. Owners easy to deal with the one time we needed something."

"The desk person was very pleasant and efficient. There was a slight odor when I entered the room which was unnoticible when I turned on the AC. The bed was comfortable and clean. It could use a little updating, but overall was a good room for the money ($108)."

"Great place for a lake getaway. It had a great up-north cabin like vibes, being close to the cities at the same time. The place had everything we needed for a nice and relaxing stay: beautiful views of the lake, kayak/canoe to venture out on the water, and a hot tub. The lake had plenty of fish to fish right off the dock, just grab your own fishing gear. Also, we liked that the location was walking distance from downtown Lindstrom that offered public beach, shopping, and dining. The place was clean and communication with the host was easy."

"We could not have had a better time at this little piece of paradise. From the second we walked onto the property, we knew we had chosen the perfect place. Less than an hour from the Cities, five minutes from downtown Lindstrom (Dairy Queen:) and our own private world minutes later. The sandy beach, the paddle boat and the kayaks were put to use by all; I don't think the kids ever took their bathing suits off all week. They caught their first fish, the terrain was perfect for bocce ball, and the beaver sightings and waterlilies in the pond just added to the ambiance. We had a breeze off the lake the entire week and we were never hot! (We rented a pontoon one afternoon on the lake...well worth it.) Host and cleaning person could not have been nicer/better."
