"I absolutely love this place. I come down here all the time. I see what their current review is and it does not match what I have experienced. It’s right near the water. The beach is really nice there and there’s a little outdoor bar that’s pretty cool. Have an indoor bar and restaurant as well. I haven’t eaten at the restaurant, but it seems like a nice place to eat. Just haven’t done it yet. The rooms are always nice and clean and comfortable and the staff is always friendly and attentive. I gave this place near a 10. The only thing is is that the place doesn’t need a little remodeling. But it’s all minor stuff. I would say the elevators are a little small for the size of hotel. But other than that, that’s it. I will always stay here when I come down the North Padre."

"3rd sleep area covered in rust, unusable. Staff had no remedy at all, not even fitted sheets."

"It’s a typical Texas coast hotel. They do have a local bar next to the hotel, so that was nice."

"The information received from host was confusing as to where trash cans should be. The coffee bar outlets did not have power. One of the bathroom doors was locked from other side and the host immediately sent his handyman to out to open it. While he was there we asked if he could figure out the a/c adjustment. It was set to Eco mode 83. He finally was able to switch it to 72. However during the day the program set back to Eco mode 83 inside. It would switch to cooler temperatures and flipped again to Eco 83 at 11pm. The living area furniture was very low to ground and definitely had better days. Seating was uncomfortable for adults. Anyone older needing assistance would have a difficult time."

"Check in was quick and easy, great communication throughout entire stay. There were a few areas left unclean in the kitchen, one spot on the countertop and around the oven cabinets. There were some small fruit flies/gnats as well. Other than these few concerns it was a wonderful place and stay. Will book again next year, love the layout and vibes."
