Bad Vacation Experience

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was not ready to be rented and the hostess should not had rented.

Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy
This property was not as advertised. The renovations were still in process and poorly completed. The front door was damaged and the knob appeared to be recessed into the door itself. The smell of cigarette smoke was so bad that I had to leave because I began to get ill. The bathroom was not clean. The shower curtain was stained. There was exposed cement board under the front window and incomplete drywall work throughout. There were several locations where the molding was missing from the wall. One of the cabinets had been quickly assembled and there were exposed nails jutting out of it. The AC unit in the bedroom, which did not have a door, was sealed to the wall with white duct tape. Electrical conduit for the bedroom ceiling fan was hanging from the ceiling. I reported this unit to VRBO. I would not recommend staying here.
